I bought this car in 2000 and sold it around 2001, and have regretted selling it ever since. It was a 1975 Cadillac Sedan deVille with a 500ci V8. I bought it from an old couple who owned the car since 1977. It was in rough shape. Full of rust and hadn't been driven in a while. There was a crack in the exhaust manifold, so it was very loud when I would first start it, but once the car warmed up and the metal expanded it quieted down. My intention was to restore this car, but I didn't have the money to put into it. However, I did replace the alternator, exhaust manifold, and A/C compressor. The car never let me down once and was fun to drive. These cars ride like a dream and are very powerful and easy to modify if that's your thing. I would definately recomend a '75 or '76 Cadillac to anyone who wants a good car to tinker around with.

I have only owned this car for a little over a month, but I have never driven something even close to this! The acceleration is amazing for such a huge car, I have to take 3 different highways each morning and ever night to get to my work in the main city so handling is key. It handles like a small car, yet I feel very safe in it knowing it will protect me in a crash. Braking is also amazing, I've had to slam the brakes a few times already due to animals in the road and so far they work great. The Build quality is like everything else I've described so far, nothing short of amazing, I really like the look of the wood inside, and I love the little feaures such as the power sunroof, heated and cooled front and rear seats, 6 CD Changer, and the power rear window sunshade. The only noise this car ever makes, is that satisfying roar of the V8 engine when I open her up on the straight stretches. The appearance is very decieving in the way that it looks like it would empty out anybodys bank account 5 times over, when I payed very little for it (Under $10,000). I really love the Bose sound system, it sounds amazing no matter what type of music you prefer, and when you turn it up, you are surrounded by the music. It is definetley a fun car to drive! It responds and drives like a sports car, yet has everything a large luxury sedan should hve and more. The only things I dislike about this car, is that the gas mileage can get a little out of control since you are always tempted to punch the gas a bit, and that the hood ornament is so easy to remove. I bought the car without one because somebody stole it off the car in the previous owner's driveway. It was another $45 out of my pocket. Other than that, I can surely say this is one amazing car, and I could go on further about all the things I like about this car, but I think I would rather go for a ride.Thank you for reading my review, and I hope this helps people if they are looking into a Cadillac like this.

I loved this car- now they only make DTS'S which sucks b/c I like the DeVille's especially the one I drove! Rides amazing, looks amazing, and has a good amount of power-especially with it's Northstar motor!! I'd love to get one again in the future and you should too!

I love pretty much everything about it from front to back. It is very sporty and family car at the same time. It will fly and still ride like a dream. My first cadillac and I love it love it.
