No change, well maybe the "V" stands for Vicious - love my Caddy! The "v" stands for velocity or so I was initially told. After driving one up on the Monticello, NY Motor Club track and now owning one for three months (close to three years) I know that has to be the truth. Nothing - absolutely nothing - coming out of any 4 door sedan mfg'r in the world is as powerful and fast as this ride. The only choice you have to make is how badly you want to either blow the doors off of the guy next to you at the red light in their BMW or AMG or how silly you want to make them feel ripping down the Interstate. Truly a car made for the track and Autobahn. Big, very big, Brembo brakes also make scrubbing mph both very fast and very easily. Not to mention stopping in city traffic. Plus, it's no lion in sheep's clothing as far as looks go either. The cockpit is just that, a cockpit, a very well tailored cockpit at that. Especially with the Recaro bucket seats and the way they make you a part of the ride - perfect. It looks as sleak and hard as it really is. Clean and chiseled to, again, perfection is not putting it too lightly. Period. So far the ride has been as tight as a drum with no annoying strange noises, besides the supercharger pumping air into the cylinders under 556hp and 550lb ft of acceleration, that is. hat's new to me. In all regards: what a rush! A close to perfect as Cadillac/GM or any mfgr has yet come to my dream car. Excellent gentlemen and ladies, excellent indeed.

Overview

About the Cadillac CTS-V
The CTS-V was the performance version of the Cadillac CTS, boasting more power and other upgrades meant to maximize driving fun. Like the standard CTS, the CTS-V was produced over three generations spanning most of the 2000s and 2010s. Cadillac replaced the CTS with the CT5 for the 2020 model year. The current CT5-V Blackwing effectively fills the same role as the CTS-V.

- Powerful engine
- Greating handling
- Fun to drive
What is the best Cadillac CTS-V model year?

Is the Cadillac CTS-V a reliable car?
The CTS itself has received decent reliability scores from J.D. Power, but a CTS-V will likely require more care and feeding than the average daily driver.
Is the Cadillac CTS-V worth the cost?
The CTS-V is a great choice for driving enthusiasts who also need a practical car. It’s not the cheapest option, but should provide a good ratio of smiles per dollar.
