Is the Cadillac CT5 a good car?

Yes — the Cadillac CT5 is a strong used pick if you want style, driving enjoyment, and value in a luxury sedan. The all-generations owner rating is 4.64/5 across every model year in the data.

Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: Super Cruise, a surround-view camera system, semi-automated parking assist, automatic collision-avoidance braking for intersections, and active blind-spot monitoring that can steer to discourage unsafe lane changes.
• Infotainment: a new 33-inch panoramic display with Google Built-in, wireless Apple CarPlay, and wireless Android Auto.
• Fuel efficiency: The EPA says the turbo-four gets 25-26 mpg combined, while the twin-turbo six returns 21-22 mpg combined.

Which Cadillac CT5 trim should I buy?

The 2025 Cadillac CT5 offers these trims:

• Premium Luxury: This is the most accessible 2025 trim named in the expert review, and it gives you the CT5’s core luxury-sedan character with the standard turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder, 10-speed automatic, rear-wheel drive, and the new 33-inch display with Google Built-in.
• Sport: This trim adds a sportier setup while keeping the CT5’s core tech and driving character, and it suits you if you want a more athletic-feeling version without jumping to the V models.
• CT5-V: This performance-focused trim steps up the CT5’s capability and is aimed at buyers who want a stronger blend of speed and luxury.
• CT5-V Blackwing: This is the top performance model in the 2025 lineup, bringing the most serious hardware and the most expensive price point.

What Cadillac CT5 do most buyers choose?

The Cadillac CT5 years with the most listings are 2024, 2025, and 2023.

These higher-volume years tend to be the easiest places to shop because you get more inventory to compare and more chances to find the right color, trim, and price. They also tend to attract the broadest mix of shoppers, which helps keep them at the center of the used market.

What is the Cadillac CT5's resale value?

Most CT5 model years are down year over year, and the biggest drops are concentrated in the newer models. That creates a favorable setup for used buyers, since recent examples have already moved down from their prior-year pricing.

The 2022 model year is holding steady, with prices close to flat year-over-year.

The 2022, 2023, and 2020 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
