Is the BMW 7 Series a good car?

Yes — the BMW 7 Series is a strong pick if you want a flagship sedan that blends luxury, comfort, and driving enjoyment. The all-generations owner rating is 4.5/5 across every model year in the data.

Are BMW 7 Series models reliable?

• Owners rate the BMW 7 Series between 1 and 5 out of 5 stars across all model years in the data.

For used buyers, long-term ownership risk can be higher than average because the car’s complexity and premium equipment can make repairs and upkeep more expensive over time.

What should I look for when buying a used BMW 7 Series?

What BMW 7 Series do most buyers choose?

The BMW 7 Series years with the most listings are 2023, 2022, and 2024.

What is the BMW 7 Series's resale value?

The table shows broad year-over-year price declines across every model year listed. That pattern is good news if you’re shopping used, because it means many versions have become more affordable over the past year.
