I love this car I had a 740i BMW 2001 and a 740il. I preferred the 740i because of its turning radius. I’ve never seen a body style that I like better. I will definitely buy this car if the price comes due to the high mileage. Waiting patiently.

Overview
About the BMW 7 Series
The BMW 7 Series is an iconic executive sedan and a long-running model in BMW’s catalog. For several decades now it has represented the pinnacle of the automaker’s design, tech, and luxury features, and later models benefit from electrified trims to keep the brand pushing forward with innovation. BMW fully redesigned the 7 Series in 2023 and offers the car with massively powerful engines and great tech, and its cabin is fitting for a flagship sedan.
What are the advantages of the BMW 7 Series?
- The 7 Series’ interior is top-notch from top to bottom.
- Powerful engine choice range up to 536 horsepower.
- The 7 Series brings confident handling and a comfortable ride.
What is the best BMW 7 Series model year?
The 7 Series got a full redesign for 2023, and the resulting car is a major improvement over its predecessor. That said, BMW’s styling has only become more radical over the years, so it might not be for everyone.
What are the disadvantages of the BMW 7 Series?
- Polarizing is an understatement to describe the styling.
- Top configurations are massively expensive.
- The 7 Series’ infotainment is a bit clunky to use at times.
Comparison: Is the BMW 7 Series better than the Mercedes-Benz S-Class?
The Mercedes S-Class and BMW 7 Series are somewhat similar in their configuration options, but Mercedes offers more upscale tech and luxury features for the top-end S-Class models. That said, the Mercedes also becomes more expensive than the 7 Series by a large margin.
Is the BMW 7 Series a reliable car?
Though older BMW 7 Series models can present scary repair costs, newer models have become more reliable, earning an above average score for predicted reliability.
Is the BMW 7 Series worth the cost?
The 7 Series and others like it have more competition from Asian brands that makes it harder to justify their sky-high price tags. That said, few luxury vehicles can match the BMW on style, posh finishes, and comfort.
