Which Audi Q5 trim should I buy?

The 2026 Audi Q5 offers these trims:

• Premium: The entry trim starts with a 14.5-inch touchscreen, an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Google built-in apps, Audi Connect Care, and standard quattro all-wheel drive; it suits you if you want the core Q5 experience with strong standard tech.

• Prestige: The top trim adds the passenger display, Park Assist Pro, rear emergency braking, and air springs that can raise the body 1.2 inches in Offroad mode or lower it at highway speeds or when parked.

What Audi Q5 do most buyers choose?

The Audi Q5 years with the most listings are 2024, 2025, and 2023.

What is the Audi Q5's resale value?

Most Q5 model years are showing lower prices than a year ago, which is good news if you want more value as a used buyer. Should I buy a used Audi Q5 now or wait for the next model?

Buy now if:

• Price trend: The 2025 model is at −7.82% versus a year ago, and the 2024 model is at −15.35%.
• Deal availability: The 2025 model has 38.3% good and great deals, and the 2024 model has 41.3%.
• Sweet-spot year: The 2024 model has the most listings at a current average price of $30,850. The Audi Q5 offers a roomy, upscale cabin with a comfortable ride and a polished everyday feel.

Consider waiting if:

• Powertrain/efficiency: One thing we can't do is come at Audi for the way its cars drive, because dynamics are this brand's hallmark. Every Q5 gets a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four with one power output, eliminating the confusing numeric designations of the last generation. At 268 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque, the engine is comparable to any turbo 2.0-liter in the segment.
• Tech: A 14.5-inch touchscreen and an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster come standard, and Prestige trims add a third 10.9-inch touchscreen for the passenger area, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Google built-in apps, and Park Assist Pro.
• Safety: More common driver-assistance features such as automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, blind spot monitors, front and rear parking sensors, and adaptive cruise control are standard, too.
• Starting price: The 2026 Audi Q5 starts at $52,800 for the Premium trim.

If you're buying used today, the 2024 model year offers the best mix of value and availability. If you want the latest tech and features, it may be worth waiting for the next model year's inventory to build up.
