Yes — the Audi A7 is a strong choice if you want a stylish luxury liftback with a premium feel and broad owner appeal. The all-generations owner rating is 4.86/5 across every model year in the data.
Owners consistently praise the A7's sleek design, luxurious interior, and strong performance. Comfort and technology also come up often, along with the smooth, powerful driving experience that makes the car feel special in daily use.
36.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
Are Audi A7 models reliable?
Owners consistently praise the Audi A7 for its comfort, performance, and upscale feel, and the available expert and owner feedback points to a car that delivers a polished driving experience across model years. The strongest themes are the A7's premium cabin, confident power delivery, and well-rounded feature content.
- Owners rate the Audi A7 between 4.5 and 5.0 out of 5 stars across all model years in the data.

What should I look for when buying a used Audi A7?
Across all model years, at 71.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
| Model Year | Accident-Free % |

| 2025 | 83.3% |
| 2024 | 85.3% |
| 2023 | 88.2% |

| 2017 | 64.7% |
| 2016 | 64% |
| 2015 | 67.4% |
| 2014 | 65.6% |
Older model years carry meaningfully higher accident rates, so always verify the vehicle history report on pre-2020 models.
What Audi A7 do most buyers choose?
The Audi A7 years with the most listings are 2018, 2017, and 2019.
| Model Year | Total Listings | Good + Great Deals % |
|---|---|---|
| 2018 | 214 | 34.6% |
| 2017 | 187 | 33.7% |
| 2019 | 186 | 34.9% |
| 2020 | 164 | 37.8% |
| 2016 | 161 | 35.4% |
| 2015 | 138 | 34.1% |
The highest-volume years tend to attract more shoppers because they offer a wider selection of examples at familiar price points. That usually makes it easier to compare trims, mileage, and condition while still finding a strong value.
What is the Audi A7's resale value?
| Model Year | Current Avg. Price | Year-Over-Year Change |
|---|---|---|
| 2019 | $26,791 | −11.13% |
| 2014 | $13,092 | −8.49% |
| 2018 | $22,511 | −8.16% |
| 2016 | $16,896 | −7.37% |
The table shows broad downward movement across the model years listed, which can create better buying opportunities for used shoppers. One year shows a double-digit drop, while the others also moved lower by meaningful amounts. That pattern gives you more room to find value if you're shopping the used market now.
The 2016, 2018, and 2014 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
Should I buy a used Audi A7 now?
Buy now if:
- Price trend: The 2019 model is at −11.13% versus a year ago, and the 2018 model is at −8.16%.
- Deal availability: The 2019 model has 34.9% good and great deals, and the 2018 model has 34.6%.
- Sweet-spot year: The 2018 model has the most listings at a current average price of $22,511.

For the price and if you look hard enough the Audi A7 with the 3.0L supercharged V6 is a bargain. Car is definitely a entry level sport vehicle for those who want try it out and are willing to spend more. It also was made for comfort and luxury and isn't beat beat like other sports vehicles. Why it stands out
The 2019 Audi A7 stands out as a stylish, coupe-like luxury liftback that blends the A6’s platform, interior design, and technology with a more emotional fastback shape. It was built to offer sporty design and performance while remaining more practical than a two-door coupe, and its standard all-wheel drive gives it broad appeal for buyers who want year-round confidence. The 2019 model also launched with a 335-horsepower 3.0-liter turbocharged V6, a 48-volt mild-hybrid system, and a new seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, giving it a modern powertrain setup right from the start.
Standard equipment was strong for the class, including a power liftgate, LED headlights, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, leather seats, a panoramic sunroof, three-zone climate control, and Audi’s Pre Sense 360 safety suite. Available features such as larger infotainment screens, a virtual cockpit digital gauge cluster, a head-up display, four-zone climate control, ambient lighting, a sport suspension, and a Bang & Olufsen audio system helped the A7 feel especially well equipped. Owners also tend to praise the car’s performance, luxury features, and styling, though some wish it offered remote start. One drawback worth noting is that the second row is cramped, and the A7 is pricier to maintain than some shoppers may expect.
