About 2023 Audi A7
The 2023 Audi A7 Sportback is a fastback sedan that has four doors and a sharply raked rear hatch. It provides a sleek profile, but with more func-tionality than a conventional coupe. The A7 provides 24.9 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats. The three-passenger rear bench folds down, providing additional cargo space, though Audi has not shared the maximum cargo space specs. The A7 was fully redesigned in 2019 and carries over from 2022 to 2023 largely unchanged. Trims for the Audi A7 are Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige. Audi al-so offers the sporty S7 and weapons-grade RS7, both of which are cov-ered in separate reviews. As for the A7 Premium, standard features in-clude leather upholstery, heated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, a three-zone climate control, and Audi’s Digital Cockpit fully digital instru-ment panel. The Premium also includes a dual-screen center console, where the lower screen controls vehicle functions and the upper screen hosts the infotainment system, with Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay. Moving up to the Premium Plus trim adds four-zone climate control, venti-lated front seats, heated rear seats, and additional driver-assistance fea-tures. The range-topping Prestige trim adds even more driver-assistance features, wireless device charging, and a Bang & Olufsen 16-speaker premium stereo system. For 2023, the S-Line and Black Optic packages have been merged into a single package that is available across all three trim levels. The A7 comes standard with a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 paired to a mild-hybrid system. It puts out 335 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. Power is routed through a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmis-sion to Quattro all-wheel drive. Audi also offers the A7 with a plug-in hy-brid powertrain that combines a turbocharged four-cylinder engine with a battery pack and an electric motor for a combined 362 horsepower. The A7 e Quattro, as it’s called, has a purely electric range of 26 miles. After that, it gets 27 mpg, but with the electric range factored in, the e Quattro returns 70 MPGe (miles per gallon of gasoline equivalent) Standard driver-assistance features on the A7 include forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, and front and rear parking sensors. If you select the Convenience package, it adds adaptive cruise control with lane guidance. Selecting the Prestige trim adds a remote self-parking function. Other optional driver-assistance fea-tures include blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, a head-up dis-play, night vision, and traffic-sign recognition. Base MSRP for the 2023 Audi A7 is $69,200 for the Premium trim. The Premium Plus trim starts at $74,350. The range-topping Prestige starts at $78,350. Audi has not confirmed the pricing for the e Quattro plug-in hy-brid version, but the aforementioned prices are identical to those of the 2022 lineup, suggesting that the Premium Plus plug-in hybrid will start at $75,900 and the Prestige plug-in will start at $81,250. The Audi A7 is backed by a four-year/50,000-mile basic warranty.
