Why it stands out
The 2022 Acura TLX stands out as one of the market’s best alternatives to a German compact luxury sedan. Acura’s recent design renaissance, which began with the 2021 TLX sedan, is part of what gives this car its appeal, and the 2022 model carries that momentum forward unchanged. It has road presence, intense attention to detail, and genuine performance capability that lifts it well above Honda models at a reasonable premium.
That combination makes the 2022 Acura TLX attractive to buyers who want a luxury sedan that feels distinctive without chasing the most expensive names in the segment. Its strengths include great handling, stylish design, and premium interior materials. The tradeoffs are worth noting, though: cargo space is limited, the back seat is cramped, and the touchpad interface takes some getting used to.
