New & Used 2026 Toyota Sienna for Sale nearSanta Fe, NM

Is the 2026 Toyota Sienna a good car?

Yes — you rate it 5/5, and the expert rating is 6.5/10. The standout strength is Cost effectiveness at 9/10.

The 2026 Toyota Sienna is a family-focused minivan that covers the basics well, with power sliding side doors, three rows of comfortable seats, and plenty of expandable cargo room. It also comes with standard hybrid power and best-in-class fuel economy, which makes it especially appealing if you want a practical people mover that spends less time at the pump.

The trade-offs are real: its maximum cargo room trails other minivans, it is boring to drive, and the interior materials feel cheap. Even so, it still makes sense if you want a fuel-efficient minivan with available all-wheel drive and easy day-to-day usability.

Good and great deals account for 37.3% of listings, which gives you a decent amount of market choice.

Is the 2026 Toyota Sienna reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2026 Toyota Sienna is built around a standard hybrid powertrain, and the expert notes point to a vehicle that feels agreeable in urban and suburban driving thanks to the instant torque from its electric motor. Toyota also includes two years or 25,000 miles of free scheduled maintenance, which helps reduce early ownership costs.

The same expert assessment also describes Toyota as having a well-deserved reputation for long-term reliability. For used buyers, the main ownership risk is less about mechanical complexity and more about living with a minivan that has some comfort and refinement compromises over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Toyota Sienna?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you are considering a higher-mileage example or one with visible wear. Focus on cabin condition, brake feel, and how the technology and driver-assistance systems operate in real use. If you want the Woodland Edition or another higher trim, make sure the added equipment is actually present and functioning as expected.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Sienna is sold in LE, XLE, XSE, Limited, Woodland Edition, and Platinum trim levels. The base trims cover the essentials, while higher trims add more convenience and parking-related equipment; the Woodland Edition also has a more distinctive look, but it still does not feel especially rugged.
• Powertrain: All Siennas are hybrids with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder gas engine, a nickel-metal hydride battery pack, and an electric motor. The system makes 245 horsepower, and the Woodland Edition and Platinum use standard e-AWD while other trims have FWD with optional AWD.
• Safety package: Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 includes high-beam assist, forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, and lane-centering assist. Blind-spot monitors and rear cross-traffic alert are also included, and higher trims add front and rear parking sensors with low-speed automatic braking.
• Infotainment: A 12.3-inch digital driver display and 12.3-inch touchscreen are standard on most trims. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are included, along with SiriusXM satellite radio and connected-service trial subscriptions.
• Fuel efficiency: The expert data cites 35 mpg combined for an AWD Sienna, and the model is described as having best-in-class fuel economy.

Which 2026 Toyota Sienna trim should I buy?

The 2026 Toyota Sienna is offered in 6 trim levels: LE, XLE, XSE, Limited, Woodland Edition, and Platinum.

Here's the short version:

• LE: This is the entry point if you want the Sienna’s core strengths at the lowest price. It gives you the hybrid powertrain, the family-friendly layout, and the standard tech and safety foundation without paying for extras you may not need.
• XLE: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it should give you a more comfortable ownership experience without pushing you into luxury-trim pricing. It is the trim to target if you want a balanced mix of equipment and value.
• XSE: Choose this if you want a sportier appearance and a more style-forward version of the Sienna, while still staying within the mainstream part of the lineup.
• Limited: This is the right pick if you want a more upscale feel and more convenience features, especially if you plan to keep the van for a long time and want a richer daily experience.
• Woodland Edition: Pick this if you want the extra ground clearance and standard e-AWD, plus the more outdoorsy theme. Just do not expect true off-road hardware; the expert notes say it is still on all-season tires and lacks features for mud, ruts, or rocks.
• Platinum: This is the top-end choice if you want the most equipment and the most premium-feeling Sienna, including the higher-end convenience features mentioned in the expert data.

Higher trims add front and rear parking sensors with low-speed automatic braking, which is a useful safety-package upgrade if you do a lot of tight-space parking.

• Clean inventory: 93.7% of listings are accident-free.

Is the 2026 Toyota Sienna safe?

The 2026 Toyota Sienna does not qualify for a Top Safety Pick or Top Safety Pick+ award from IIHS, and it earns a five-star overall rating from NHTSA despite a three-star driver protection rating, a four-star front passenger protection rating, and a four-star rollover resistance rating.

It earns a 4/10 safety score from our experts.

Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 is standard, and it includes high-beam assist, forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, and lane-centering assist. Blind-spot monitors and rear cross-traffic alert are also included, while higher trims add front and rear parking sensors with low-speed automatic braking.

The main caveat is the Marginal IIHS result in the updated moderate overlap front-impact test for second-row occupant protection, which is why safety remains a weak point for this model year.

Should I buy a 2026 Toyota Sienna or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 37.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It combines standard hybrid power with best-in-class fuel economy and available AWD.

Consider the 2025 if:

• It pairs a standard hybrid powertrain with practical everyday usability.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2026 if you want the latest version of the Sienna’s efficiency-first formula and you can find a clean example at a fair price. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2025 is worth a look because it delivers the same core family-hauler appeal with similar efficiency and AWD availability.
