New & Used 2026 Toyota Sienna for Sale nearBarry, IL

Is the 2026 Toyota Sienna a good car?

Yes — the 2026 Toyota Sienna earns a 5/5 user rating and a 6.5/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Cost effectiveness at 9/10. It combines minivan practicality with hybrid efficiency, and the overview points to a family-friendly setup with three rows, available all-wheel drive, and strong everyday utility. The trade-offs are that it can be expensive for the class and its safety ratings need improvement. Even so, it remains a compelling choice if you want fuel economy, passenger space, and usefulness in one package. Good and great deals account for 35.9% of listings, so there is some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2026 Toyota Sienna reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The Sienna’s overview emphasizes Toyota’s reputation for reliability, and the expert notes reinforce that the underlying vehicle architecture is sound. The powertrain is described as agreeable in urban and suburban driving, and the cost-effectiveness notes add that Toyota includes two years or 25,000 miles of free scheduled maintenance. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about basic durability and more about finding one that has been maintained well and hasn’t been worn down by family-duty use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Toyota Sienna?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies. You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re looking at a higher-mileage family hauler. Focus on cabin wear, brake feel, and how the hybrid system drives in normal use, since those are the kinds of issues that matter most in a used minivan.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup includes LE, XLE, XSE, Limited, Woodland Edition, and Platinum. The LE adds an eight-speaker audio system, a power rear door, rear window shades, and a moonroof, while the XSE gets the JBL sound system. The Woodland Edition is the most distinctive choice, but the content also notes cheap-feeling interior materials and a dark cabin, so base-trim shoppers should pay close attention to equipment and cabin quality.
• Powertrain: All Siennas use a hybrid setup with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder gas engine and electric motors. Front-wheel drive is standard on most trims, while all-wheel drive is available; Woodland Edition and Platinum use e-AWD. The powertrain delivers 245 horsepower, and the AWD version is rated at 35 mpg combined.
• Safety package: Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 includes high-beam assist, forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, and lane-centering assist. Blind-spot monitors and rear cross-traffic alert are also included. Higher trims add front and rear parking sensors with low-speed automatic braking.
• Infotainment: A 12.3-inch digital driver display and 12.3-inch touchscreen are standard on most trims. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are included, along with SiriusXM satellite radio and connected-service trials. Wireless charging is available, and the Woodland Edition can be equipped with a 12-speaker JBL premium sound system.
• Fuel efficiency: The standard hybrid setup is rated at 36 mpg combined, and the AWD version is rated at 35 mpg combined.

Which 2026 Toyota Sienna trim should I buy?

The 2026 Toyota Sienna is offered in 6 trim levels: LE, XLE, XSE, Limited, Woodland Edition, and Platinum.

Here's the short version:

• LE: This is the entry point, but it still brings useful family features such as an eight-speaker audio system, a power rear door, rear window shades, and a moonroof. It makes sense if you want the lowest starting price and still want a well-equipped minivan.
• XLE: This trim should appeal if you want a step up in comfort and convenience without chasing the highest-priced versions. It sits in the middle of the lineup and is a sensible place to shop if you want more equipment than the LE.
• XSE: This is the trim to consider if you want a sportier-feeling Sienna with the JBL sound system. It stands out as a good fit if audio quality matters to you.
• Limited: This is the upscale mainstream choice if you want a more premium-feeling Sienna without going all the way to the top of the range.
• Woodland Edition: This is the most distinctive trim, with standard e-AWD, extra ground clearance, and outdoor-themed touches. It is best for buyers who want the available traction and a more adventurous look, but it is not a true off-road model.
• Platinum: This is the top-end choice if you want the most content and the most upscale version of the Sienna lineup.

The safety package is strong across the lineup, but the Sienna’s overall safety ratings are a weak point, so it’s worth weighing equipment against that caveat.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2026 Toyota Sienna?

The market looks moderate and selective, so you should shop carefully and be ready to move when you find a clean example at the right price.

• Deal availability: 35.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,623 listings available.
• Clean inventory: 94.8% of listings are accident-free.

Is the 2026 Toyota Sienna safe?

The 2026 Toyota Sienna earns a three-star driver protection rating and a four-star front passenger protection rating from NHTSA, with five-star ratings in each side-impact test and a four-star rollover resistance rating. It does not qualify for a Top Safety Pick or Top Safety Pick+ award from IIHS. It earns a 4/10 safety score from our experts.

Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 includes high-beam assist, forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, and lane-centering assist. Blind-spot monitors and rear cross-traffic alert are also included, and higher trims add front and rear parking sensors with low-speed automatic braking.

The main caveat is the IIHS moderate overlap front-impact result, which was rated Marginal for second-row occupant protection. That makes safety a point to weigh carefully if you’re comparing the Sienna with other family haulers.

Should I buy a 2026 Toyota Sienna or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 35.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2026 Sienna stands out for hybrid efficiency, available AWD, and family-friendly utility.

Consider the 2025 if:

• The 2025 emphasizes strong fuel economy, available AWD, and easier family use.

The bottom line: If you want the newest version with current-market availability and the same core strengths, the 2026 is the primary path to consider. If you’re price-sensitive, the 2025 is worth a look because it delivers the same basic Sienna formula and may be easier on your budget.
