New & Used 2026 Toyota Sequoia for Sale nearMount Carroll, IL

Is the 2026 Toyota Sequoia a good car?

The 2026 Toyota Sequoia is a strong fit if you want a full-size, body-on-frame SUV with three rows, truck-based capability, and a rugged character. It is aimed at families that need space and towing strength rather than a carlike crossover feel, and Toyota’s hybrid powertrain gives it a useful efficiency advantage over the old V8 setup. Interior updates for 2026, including new leather-trimmed seating options in some trims and standard power-folding third-row seats, add everyday appeal.

It also keeps the kind of features many shoppers expect in a modern family SUV, including Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Toyota Safety Sense, and available four-wheel drive. The tradeoffs are real, though: the hybrid battery under the third row reduces cargo space, and the truck-based design can feel less refined than some rivals.

With 34.8% of listings priced as good or great deals, the market gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2026 Toyota Sequoia reliable?

The 2026 Toyota Sequoia leans on Toyota’s long-running reputation for dependable powertrains, and that is a major part of its appeal. It is built for buyers who want a large SUV that can work hard, carry people, and handle towing duties with a durable, truck-based foundation. The hybrid setup also helps define its identity as a modern alternative to the old V8 formula.

For used buyers, the long-term ownership risk is more about packaging and practicality tradeoffs than about the core durability story.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Toyota Sequoia?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 97.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the specific truck has a clean maintenance record. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the third-row area, cargo space usability, and overall interior condition, since the hybrid battery placement affects packaging and day-to-day practicality.

Should I buy a 2026 Toyota Sequoia or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 34.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 97.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

Consider the 2025 if:

• It adds a Texas-themed luxury trim with strong towing and cargo capability.

The bottom line:

The 2026 is the better pick if you want the latest interior refinements and the strongest mix of family utility, towing ability, and modern features. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2025 is worth a look because it delivers the same basic full-size Sequoia formula and may give you more room to prioritize value over the newest updates.
