New & Used 2026 Toyota Camry for Sale nearColebrook, CT

How much does the 2026 Toyota Camry cost?

Prices have softened 4.99% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 9,048 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing prices and trims.

Is the 2026 Toyota Camry a good car?

Yes — the 2026 Toyota Camry earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.83/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Cost effectiveness at 9/10.

The Camry is built around practicality, with an emphasis on affordability, efficiency, and safety. It remains one of the few midsize sedans still sold in the United States, and it comes in five trim levels with a standard hybrid powertrain across the lineup. That makes it a strong fit if you want a dependable daily driver rather than something flashy.

The trade-offs are familiar ones: the styling is uninspired, cargo space is limited, and the stereo is lacking. Even so, the Camry is described as cheap to own, safe, comfortable, and good to drive, with fuel efficiency and easy-to-use technology rounding out the appeal.

39.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which points to a reasonably shopper-friendly market.

Is the 2026 Toyota Camry reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Camry’s reliability case is reinforced by its practical design, standard hybrid setup, and reputation for being cheap to own and dependable. It is also described as comfortable and easy to live with, which matters when you plan to keep a car for the long haul. The hybrid powertrain is presented as tried-and-true, and the model’s overall formula is aimed at low-stress ownership rather than complexity.

Toyota’s complimentary maintenance package lasts twice as long as the Accord’s, which is a useful ownership perk if you’re comparing long-term running costs.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about mechanical drama and more about whether the specific car has been maintained well and kept in good condition.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Toyota Camry?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because accident-free status is a useful starting point but not a substitute for documentation. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection if you’re considering a higher-mileage example or one with visible wear. Focus on condition details that matter in daily use, especially interior wear, tire condition, and any signs that the car has been used hard.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The LE, SE, Nightshade Edition, XLE, and XSE each bring different equipment and appearance details. The base trim is the most straightforward, while the higher trims add more comfort and convenience features.
• Powertrain: The Camry uses a hybrid system with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and electric motors. Front-wheel-drive models make 225 horsepower, while all-wheel-drive versions add a rear motor and increase output to 232 hp.
• Safety package: Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 is standard and includes adaptive cruise control, forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, lane-centering assist, road-sign assist, and high-beam assist. Blind-spot monitors, rear cross-traffic alert, and safe-exit warning are also standard.
• Infotainment: More affordable models use an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A 12.3-inch touchscreen is available, and connected services can add cloud-based navigation and voice recognition.
• Fuel efficiency: Combined fuel economy ranges from 43 mpg to 51 mpg, depending on trim and drivetrain.

Which 2026 Toyota Camry trim should I buy?

The 2026 Toyota Camry is offered in 5 trim levels: LE, SE, Nightshade Edition, XLE, and XSE.

Here's the short version:

• LE: This is the most affordable path into the Camry lineup and the best fit if you want the core hybrid efficiency, standard safety tech, and easy-to-use infotainment without paying for extras.
• SE: This trim adds a sport-tuned suspension and a more athletic feel, making it a good choice if you want a little more personality without moving too far up the price ladder.
• Nightshade Edition: This is the style-focused pick, with satin black 19-inch wheels, gloss-black exterior detailing, and a black interior. It’s the best-value choice if you want the most distinctive look for the money.
• XLE: This is the comfort-leaning upgrade, and it also gets the touch-sensing steering wheel that helps support the driver-assistance tech.
• XSE: This is the most upscale and sporty-feeling trim, combining the stronger feature set with the sport-tuned suspension and the touch-sensing steering wheel.

Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 is standard on every trim, so you don’t have to move up the lineup to get the core driver-assistance package.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2026 Toyota Camry?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop carefully without waiting forever.

• Deal availability: 39.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 9,048 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.99% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 88.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $32,243, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2026 Toyota Camry's resale value?

The current average of $32,243 sits slightly below last year's $33,936.

That softer pricing can work in your favor if you’re buying now, but it also means future resale values may be shaped by how much the market continues to normalize. If prices stabilize, a well-kept Camry should remain relatively easy to move because it sits in a segment buyers still trust for practicality and efficiency.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2026 Toyota Camry safe?

The 2026 Camry earns five-star ratings in every individual NHTSA assessment and a Top Safety Pick+ from IIHS.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 is standard on every 2026 Camry and includes adaptive cruise control, forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, lane-centering assist, road-sign assist, and high-beam assist. Blind-spot monitors, rear cross-traffic alert, and safe-exit warning are also standard.

Predictive Driving Assist is also part of the package, and it can help monitor following distances and avoid obstacles even when adaptive cruise control is not actively engaged. One trim-level note: the touch-sensing steering wheel is available on XLE and XSE models, but not on the Nightshade Edition.

Should I buy a 2026 Toyota Camry or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 39.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.99% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It keeps the Camry formula focused on practicality, efficiency, and safety while adding the Nightshade Edition trim.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $28,519, the 2025 costs less than the current year's $32,243 average.
• It launched the Camry’s hybrid-only direction and brought a new look and new features.

The bottom line: If you want the newer model-year Camry with current pricing, strong safety, and broad inventory, the 2026 is the better all-around pick. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2025 is the smarter value play, especially if you find one in good condition with the equipment you want.
