New & Used 2026 Lincoln Nautilus for Sale nearNew Bern, NC

Is the 2026 Lincoln Nautilus a good car?

The 2026 Lincoln Nautilus earns an expert rating of 7.83/10. The model scores 9/10 across Form and function, Technology, and Safety.

It’s a strong fit if you want a luxury SUV that prioritizes comfort, a quiet cabin, and an upscale atmosphere over sharp handling. The ride is buttery smooth, the interior is roomy, and the tech presentation is bold and modern. The trade-offs are clear: sportiness isn’t really part of the equation, the screen-heavy cabin can be distracting, and there isn’t much power for the money.

With 32.4% of listings priced as good or great deals, the market gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2026 Lincoln Nautilus reliable?

The 2026 Lincoln Nautilus is built around comfort-first engineering, with smooth power delivery and a quiet, serene driving character that should appeal if you value refinement over excitement. Its standard all-wheel drive and available hybrid setup give you a broad enough lineup for everyday use, and the expert assessment points to a vehicle that stays composed and easygoing rather than strained or noisy.

The hybrid powertrain is described as the clear choice in the lineup, and the performance notes say it works well because it’s meant to stay in the background rather than call attention to itself. Lincoln also makes the safety suite standard, which adds confidence for daily driving and long-term ownership.

If you’re buying used, the main long-term risk is that the Nautilus’s luxury-tech focus may mean you’ll want to be especially attentive to electronics, software behavior, and overall condition as the miles add up.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Lincoln Nautilus?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a thorough inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-trim example with more equipment. Pay close attention to the condition and operation of the screens, driver-assistance features, and interior materials, since this SUV leans heavily on technology and cabin presentation. If you’re shopping the hybrid, make sure its power delivery and fuel-economy expectations line up with how you drive.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base Premiere gives you synthetic leather upholstery, while the Reserve upgrades to leather and adds a chocolate brown color option. The Black Label brings two interior themes, Chalet and Aurora, plus the most upscale cabin presentation. The Reserve is the best-value trim if you want the biggest step up in luxury without jumping to the top price tier.
• Powertrain: The standard turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder makes 250 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque, while the hybrid adds an electric motor and raises output to 310 hp and 295 lb-ft. The hybrid is the clear choice if you want the stronger, smoother setup.
• Safety package: Lincoln BlueCruise is standard, along with a surround-view camera system, adaptive cruise control, lane-centering steering, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warning, high-beam assist, blind-spot monitors, rear cross-traffic alert, exit warning, front and rear parking sensors, a driver-attention monitor, forward collision warning with pedestrian detection and intersection assist, and front and rear automatic emergency braking. The standard suite is broad, and Lincoln makes it standard across the lineup.
• Infotainment: You get a 48-inch display at the base of the windshield plus an 11.1-inch touchscreen, standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 5G Wi-Fi hotspot, a digital key, satellite radio, remote start, and a wireless smartphone charger. The screen setup is impressive, but it can feel overwhelming.
• Fuel efficiency: The hybrid is EPA-rated at 29 mpg city, 31 mpg highway, and 30 mpg combined. Lincoln says it delivers 6 mpg better than the base engine, but the hybrid’s extra cost may take more than five years to recoup.

Which 2026 Lincoln Nautilus trim should I buy?

The 2026 Lincoln Nautilus is offered in 3 trim levels: Premiere, Reserve, and Black Label.

Here's the short version:

• Premiere: This is the entry point, and it gives you the Nautilus experience with the core luxury-tech setup. It makes sense if you want the model’s comfort and standard safety without stretching for extras.
• Reserve: This is the best-value trim. It adds leather upholstery, adaptive dampers, upgraded Revel audio, a panoramic roof, and 20-inch wheels, making it the sweet spot for most shoppers.
• Black Label: This is the top luxury choice, with higher-end interior trim, the Lincoln Rejuvenate relaxation system, the top Revel audio system, and 22-inch wheels. Choose it if you want the most indulgent version and don’t mind the price jump.

Lincoln makes the full safety suite standard, including BlueCruise.

Is the 2026 Lincoln Nautilus safe?

The 2026 Lincoln Nautilus earns a Top Safety Pick rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety and five-star ratings from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Lincoln makes a broad safety suite standard, including a surround-view camera system, adaptive cruise control, lane-centering steering, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warning, high-beam assist, blind-spot monitors, rear cross-traffic alert, exit warning, front and rear parking sensors, a driver-attention monitor, forward collision warning with pedestrian detection and intersection assist, and front and rear automatic emergency braking. BlueCruise is also standard and can handle hands-free driving on mapped highways.

The main caveat is that BlueCruise can be overly sensitive at times, and the vehicle missed Top Safety Pick+ because it had not yet been subjected to the vehicle-to-vehicle front crash prevention test.

Should I buy a 2026 Lincoln Nautilus or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 32.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• The 2026 Nautilus is for you if you want comfort, luxury, and technology more than outright power and sporty handling.

The bottom line: If your priority is a quiet, roomy, tech-heavy luxury SUV, the 2026 Nautilus is a strong choice. If you’re more price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby model years for a lower entry cost while still getting the same basic comfort-and-technology formula.
