New & Used 2026 Honda Odyssey for Sale nearPortland, OR

Is the 2026 Honda Odyssey a good car?

The 2026 Honda Odyssey is a strong fit if you want a family hauler that prioritizes comfort, practicality, and easy driving. It uses a 3.5-liter V6, and Honda says the van’s lighter, more rigid unibody structure helps support a quieter cabin and fewer rattles and squeaks over time.

It also leans heavily into family-friendly convenience, with seating for seven or eight and available features like CabinTalk, CabinWatch, a rear entertainment setup, Magic Slide second-row seats, wireless phone charging, and an 11-speaker audio system. The base model includes Honda Sensing, a multi-angle rearview camera, and adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow, which adds to its everyday appeal.

The main tradeoffs are that it does not offer all-wheel drive or a hybrid version, and some rivals provide more storage versatility. It also tends to be one of the pricier used minivans, so you’re often paying for Honda’s reputation and feature set rather than bargain pricing. Even so, 34.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a workable shopping pool.

Is the 2026 Honda Odyssey reliable?

The 2026 Honda Odyssey is presented as a durable, family-focused minivan with a robust structure and a design aimed at long-term comfort and refinement. Honda’s lighter, more rigid unibody setup is meant to help the cabin stay quieter and reduce the kinds of squeaks and rattles that can wear on you over time.

Its standard safety equipment and straightforward V6 powertrain also support the sense that this is built for steady everyday use rather than complexity. For used buyers, the long-term ownership risk is more about paying a premium for condition and features than worrying about a highly complicated setup.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Honda Odyssey?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the van’s maintenance and accident records line up with the seller’s claims. A pre-purchase inspection is worth prioritizing, especially if you’re comparing higher-mileage examples or trims with more equipment. Focus on overall condition, cabin wear, and how well the family features and electronics work, since those are central to the Odyssey’s value.

Should I buy a 2026 Honda Odyssey or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 34.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

Consider the 2025 if:

• It adds useful tech updates and remains comfortable, practical, and enjoyable to drive.

The bottom line: The 2026 is the better path if you want the newer model-year setup and a solid mix of family features, safety equipment, and usable inventory. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2025 can make sense because it keeps the Odyssey’s core strengths while potentially lowering your purchase cost.
