New & Used 2026 Honda Odyssey for Sale nearEugene, OR

Is the 2026 Honda Odyssey a good car?

The 2026 Honda Odyssey is a strong choice if you want a family hauler that prioritizes comfort, practicality, and easy driving. It uses a 3.5-liter V6, and Honda says it makes 280 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque, while the lighter, more rigid unibody structure is meant to help the cabin stay quieter and feel more solid over time.

It also leans heavily into family convenience, with seating for seven or eight and available features like CabinTalk, CabinWatch, a rear entertainment setup, Magic Slide second-row seats, wireless phone charging, and an 11-speaker audio system. The base model includes Honda Sensing, a multi-angle rearview camera, and adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow, which adds to its everyday appeal.

The tradeoffs are clear: you do not get all-wheel drive or a hybrid option, and some rivals offer more storage versatility. Still, if you want a minivan that feels easy to live with and well equipped for family duty, the Odyssey fits that brief well. With 38.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market offers a moderate amount of value if you shop carefully.

Is the 2026 Honda Odyssey reliable?

The 2026 Honda Odyssey is presented as a durable, family-focused minivan with a robust unibody structure that Honda says is lighter and more rigid than before. That design is intended to support a quieter cabin and fewer rattles and squeaks over time, which is a good sign for long-term day-to-day use.

Its straightforward V6 setup and emphasis on comfort and practicality also point to a vehicle built for steady ownership rather than novelty. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about complexity and more about paying a premium for a minivan that is often priced above some alternatives.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Honda Odyssey?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and verify that the van’s maintenance and ownership records make sense for a family vehicle. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the cabin, sliding doors, infotainment system, and rear-seat features, since those are the kinds of items that matter most in daily use. Focus on overall condition and how well the interior equipment works, because that is where a used Odyssey’s value is most likely to show up.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2026 Honda Odyssey?

• Deal availability: 38.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

Should I buy a 2026 Honda Odyssey or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 38.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

Consider the 2025 if:

• It adds useful tech updates and remains comfortable, practical, and enjoyable to drive.

The bottom line: The 2026 is the better primary pick if you want the newer model-year package and are comfortable paying for a well-equipped, family-friendly minivan. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2025 is worth a look because it keeps the Odyssey’s core strengths while potentially giving you a lower entry point.
