New & Used 2026 Genesis GV70 for Sale nearElmira, NY

How much does the 2026 Genesis GV70 cost?

Prices have softened 1.88% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,388 listings available, which suggests you have a meaningful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2026 Genesis GV70 a good car?

Yes — the 2026 Genesis GV70 earns a 5/5 user rating and an 8.2/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Technology, and Safety.

The 2026 GV70 leans into the qualities that made it successful in the first place: refined styling, standard all-wheel drive, and a major technology upgrade centered on the very wide OLED display. It stays near the top of the compact luxury SUV class, especially if you want a premium-feeling crossover with a strong feature set.

The main trade-offs are familiar ones: the cabin’s ergonomic design is not ideal, and there is no hybrid option. Even so, the model’s 37.9% good-or-great deal share shows there are still attractive opportunities in the market.

Is the 2026 Genesis GV70 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2026 GV70 is presented as a well-developed luxury SUV with standard all-wheel drive, a comprehensive safety package, and a refreshed software and display setup that should support day-to-day usability. Its performance setup also looks robust, with a 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder and an available 3.5-liter turbocharged V6, plus a smooth-shifting eight-speed automatic.

Genesis also says the refreshed model gets over-the-air updates, which can help keep the ownership experience current over time. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about the core hardware and more about making sure the electronics, driver-assistance features, and cabin controls are all working as intended.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Genesis GV70?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a luxury SUV with a lot of technology and driver-assistance equipment. Focus on the condition of the infotainment system, camera views, digital gauges, and safety features, since those are central to the GV70’s appeal. It’s also worth checking that the cabin controls, voice functions, and display behavior are operating normally.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The standard car emphasizes style and technology, while Sport models add dark chrome trim, unique wheel options, and a more aggressive interior look. The base setup is already well equipped, but higher trims add more luxury and convenience features.
• Powertrain: The base 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder makes 300 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque, while the available 3.5-liter turbocharged V6 makes 375 hp and 391 lb-ft of torque. All-wheel drive is standard across the lineup.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, Lane Following Assist, Driver Attention Warning, Blind-Spot Collision Avoidance-Assist, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Avoidance-Assist, Front and Rear Parking Distance Warning, Safe Exit Assist, Rear Occupant Alert and Forward Attention Warning. Higher trims add Front, Rear and Side Parking Distance Warning along with Rear Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist.
• Infotainment: The cabin centers on a 27-inch OLED display with over-the-air updates, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, customizable themes, a 360-degree Surround View Monitor, and digital gauges with configurable information.
• Fuel efficiency: The base 2.5T should deliver 20 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway, while the 2.5T Sport Prestige drops to 26 mpg highway. Fuel economy falls to 18 mpg city and 25 mpg highway with the upsized engine.

Which 2026 Genesis GV70 trim should I buy?

The 2026 Genesis GV70 is offered in 6 trim levels: 2.5T, 2.5T Select, 2.5T Advanced, 2.5T Sport Prestige, 3.5T Sport Advanced, 3.5T Sport Prestige.

Here's the short version:

• 2.5T: This is the entry point, but it still gives you the core GV70 experience: standard all-wheel drive, 300 horsepower, and the refreshed design and tech package. It makes sense if you want the GV70’s style and fundamentals at the lowest price.
• 2.5T Select: This trim adds a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, and upgraded aluminum trim, making it a strong value step up if you want more comfort and convenience without jumping too far in price.
• 2.5T Advanced: This is the best-value trim in the lineup because it adds an excellent Bang & Olufsen audio system, ventilated seats, a 360-degree camera, leather seating surfaces and more. It’s the sweet spot for shoppers who want a more complete luxury experience.
• 2.5T Sport Prestige: This trim brings the most fully loaded version of the four-cylinder model, with all the features and a more upscale presentation. It suits you if you want the richest equipment list without moving to the V6.
• 3.5T Sport Advanced: This is the first V6 trim, and it’s the choice if you want the stronger 375-hp engine and the more performance-oriented setup. It’s for buyers who care more about power than value.
• 3.5T Sport Prestige: This is the top-end choice, combining the V6 with the most complete equipment list and the most premium presentation. It’s the one to buy if you want the most luxurious and most powerful GV70.

The safety package is broad across the lineup, but the 2.5T Advanced and 3.5T Sport Prestige gain additional parking-assist features.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2026 Genesis GV70?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 37.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,388 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.88% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 94.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $51,545, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2026 Genesis GV70's resale value?

The current average of $52,392 sits slightly below last year's $53,397.

That modest decline suggests the market has softened a bit, which can help you as a buyer today but may also mean future resale gains are more limited if you buy at the wrong price. The good news for a future seller is that the GV70 still has strong appeal thanks to its styling, technology, and standard all-wheel drive.

Because the model remains well regarded and continues to attract shoppers in the compact luxury SUV segment, demand should stay reasonably healthy. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2026 Genesis GV70 safe?

The 2026 GV70 has not yet been tested by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, but the 2025 Genesis GV70 was rated a Top Safety Pick+, and past versions have earned five-star ratings from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

The GV70’s standard safety suite includes Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, Lane Following Assist, Driver Attention Warning, Blind-Spot Collision Avoidance-Assist, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Avoidance-Assist, Front and Rear Parking Distance Warning, Safe Exit Assist, Rear Occupant Alert and Forward Attention Warning. Higher trims add Front, Rear and Side Parking Distance Warning along with Rear Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist.

Genesis’ Highway Driving Assist also now uses capacitive sensors to detect your hands on the steering wheel, and testing found it generally reliable. The main caveat is that the refreshed 2026 model has not yet been independently crash-tested, so you’re relying on the strength of the previous model’s results and the continuity of the safety hardware.

Should I buy a 2026 Genesis GV70 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 37.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.88% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The refreshed model adds a very wide 27-inch OLED display and a comprehensive software upgrade for the technology and safety systems.

The bottom line: If you want the freshest version of the GV70 with the latest cabin tech and a still-reasonable used-market price, the 2026 is the one to target. If you’re mainly shopping for the lowest possible entry price, a nearby older model year may be worth a look, but the 2026 gives you the most up-to-date presentation and features.
