New & Used 2026 Dodge Charger Daytona for Sale nearFort Collins, CO

Is the 2026 Dodge Charger Daytona a good car?

The 2026 Dodge Charger Daytona earns a 7.8/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Safety.

It stands out as a four-door electric muscle car that keeps the Charger’s retro style while adding real-world practicality. The overview and test-drive notes both point to a car that delivers a stunning amount of raw performance and is genuinely fun to drive, while also giving you more space than the coupe. That makes it a stronger fit if you want the Charger look and attitude without giving up everyday usability.

The trade-offs are just as clear: poor visibility, cheap-feeling interior materials, and sluggish touchscreen response. Those drawbacks matter because the car’s price pushes into luxury-car territory, so you’re paying a lot and still not getting a cabin that feels fully premium.

With 31.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2026 Dodge Charger Daytona reliable?

The Charger Daytona is presented as a modern EV with a low-mounted battery pack, all-wheel drive, and a drivetrain designed for repeated hard acceleration without the drama of the old rear-drive muscle-car formula. The performance notes also suggest it can be driven hard again and again with less concern about losing control than a traditional high-power gas Charger.

For ownership, the battery and charging setup are the main long-term items to watch. You should pay close attention to charging habits, battery state of health, and whether the car has been mostly home-charged or frequently fast-charged. If any battery warranty coverage remains, that helps reduce risk, but used-EV buyers should still treat battery condition as a key part of the inspection.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Dodge Charger Daytona?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 97.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and inspect the car carefully, especially because the Charger Daytona can be optioned heavily and its condition can vary a lot from one example to another. Focus on signs of curb rash, tire wear, charging-port condition, and whether the cabin electronics and screens behave normally. If you’re shopping a used EV, battery health and charging consistency deserve extra attention.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The four-door body style preserves the car’s styling well, and the available packages can meaningfully change the feel of the cabin and equipment level. The base setup leaves you with a cabin that can seem inexpensive for the price, so you should pay attention to whether the car has the upgrades that help mask that shortfall.
• Powertrain: The car uses two electric motors, one front and one rear, for all-wheel drive. Output is 630 hp and 627 lb-ft normally, with 670 hp available through the Power Shot function. The setup is built for strong, repeatable acceleration and confident traction.
• Safety package: Every Charger Daytona includes Active Driving Assist, which combines adaptive cruise control and lane-centering assist. Standard equipment also includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and parking sensors to the front, side, and rear. Surround-view cameras and a blind-spot camera are part of the available Plus Group package.
• Infotainment: You get a 12.3-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen, a 16-inch digital instrument display, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, and over-the-air connected features through Dodge Connect. The system also includes a head-up display and performance-focused pages and recording tools.
• Range & charging: The battery pack is 100.5 kWh, with 93.9 kWh usable. DC fast charging can take the battery from 20% to 80% in 24 minutes, while home charging on an 11-kW AC setup takes 5.4 hours for the same charge window.
• Battery health: Check battery state-of-health, ask how the car was typically charged, and look for evidence of frequent DC fast charging versus regular home charging. If battery warranty coverage remains, that lowers your risk, but you should still verify real-world range and charging behavior before you buy.

Which 2026 Dodge Charger Daytona trim should I buy?

The 2026 Dodge Charger Daytona is offered in 1 trim level: Scat Pack.

Here's the short version:

The Scat Pack: is the only trim, so your decision is really about condition, options, and price rather than trim hierarchy. It brings the full performance-focused setup, and the available packages can add meaningful comfort, tech, and appearance upgrades. If you want the Charger Daytona experience, this is the one to shop.

The safety-package note is simple: Active Driving Assist is standard, while surround-view cameras and a blind-spot camera are tied to the available Plus Group package.

Should I buy a 2026 Dodge Charger Daytona or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 31.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 97.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• The 2026 adds a four-door body style that improves practicality without giving up the Charger’s style or performance.

Consider the 2025 if:

• It delivers the first true all-electric Charger experience with strong personality and instant acceleration.

The bottom line: If you want the most practical and up-to-date Charger Daytona, the 2026 is the better target because the four-door layout broadens its appeal without diluting the car’s core character. If you’re mainly chasing the lowest possible entry price, the 2025 can still make sense, especially if you find one in strong condition and can live with its less practical coupe-only setup.
