What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Chevrolet Equinox EV?

You should still run a history report and verify that the vehicle’s condition matches the listing details. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the battery-related systems, charging equipment, tires, brakes, and interior wear, since those areas matter most on a used EV. If you can, focus on examples with clear maintenance records and consistent charging behavior.

Should I buy a 2026 Chevrolet Equinox EV or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 36.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

Consider the 2025 if:

• It emphasizes affordability, comfort, and more than 300 miles of range.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2026 if you want a current-year used option with solid deal availability and a strong share of clean listings. If your top priority is stretching your budget as far as possible, the 2025 is the better year to compare first because it centers on value and range.
