New & Used 2026 Audi A5 for Sale nearWashington, IL

Is the 2026 Audi A5 a good car?

The 2026 Audi A5 is a stylish luxury car that now plays a broader role than earlier versions of the nameplate. It is offered only as a five-door hatchback, and Audi says it has more room inside than the second-generation version thanks to a larger body. The hatchback tailgate also gives it useful cargo space, which helps make the A5 feel more practical without giving up its upscale character.

Performance centers on a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with a 48-volt hybrid system, and Audi pairs it with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. The car also gets a stiffer chassis and suspension tuning that contribute to excellent handling, while the standard steel suspension keeps the setup straightforward. Inside, the A5 leans heavily into technology, with a Digital Stage setup, generous standard equipment, and strong safety credentials.

For you, the A5 makes the most sense if you want a premium daily driver that blends style, practicality, and modern tech rather than a traditional coupe or convertible. 35.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a moderate amount of market flexibility.

Is the 2026 Audi A5 reliable?

The 2026 Audi A5 is presented as a well-equipped luxury car with a straightforward standard suspension, a modern turbocharged four-cylinder powertrain, and strong safety equipment. Audi also gives it a generous standard feature set, which can make the ownership experience feel polished from the start.

Its main appeal is that it combines upscale design, useful packaging, and a broad set of standard features in one car. For a used buyer, the long-term ownership risk is more about maintaining a technology-heavy luxury vehicle than about any single standout weakness.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Audi A5?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 98.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and verify that the car’s equipment and service records match what you expect from a premium, tech-heavy model. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the electronics, interior features, and overall condition, since those are the areas where a luxury car’s ownership experience can feel most expensive if something is off.

Should I buy a 2026 Audi A5 or consider a different year?

Choose the 2026 if:

• 35.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 98.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

The bottom line: The 2026 A5 is the right choice if you want the latest version of Audi’s stylish, practical, tech-forward luxury formula and you value a strong pool of clean listings. If you are more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may be the better path, especially if you can find a similar car with the features you want at a lower asking price.
