New & Used 2026 Audi A5 for Sale near Bourbonnais, IL

Is the 2026 Audi A5 a good car?

The 2026 Audi A5 is a stylish luxury car that now plays a broader role than earlier versions of the nameplate. It is offered only as a five-door hatchback, and Audi says it has more room inside than the second-generation version thanks to a larger body. The hatchback tailgate also gives it useful cargo space, which helps make the A5 feel more practical without giving up its upscale character.

Performance centers on a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with a 48-volt hybrid system, and Audi pairs it with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. The car also gets a stiffer chassis and suspension tuning that contribute to excellent handling. Inside, the A5 leans heavily into technology, with a large digital display setup and generous standard equipment such as Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, leather upholstery, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, a panoramic sunroof, and a power liftgate.

For you, the appeal is strongest if you want a premium daily driver that blends style, practicality, and modern tech rather than a traditional coupe or convertible. 31.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there is still meaningful value to be found if you shop carefully.

Is the 2026 Audi A5 reliable?

The 2026 Audi A5 is presented as a well-equipped luxury car with a strong safety profile and a straightforward standard powertrain. Audi’s emphasis on a proven turbocharged four-cylinder, all-wheel drive, and a generous list of standard features points to a car built for balanced everyday use rather than complexity for its own sake.

Its main strengths are its upscale packaging, useful hatchback layout, and broad standard equipment, while the most advanced comfort and convenience features are reserved for higher trims. For a used buyer, the long-term ownership risk is most likely to come from luxury-car maintenance and feature complexity rather than from the basic concept of the car itself.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Audi A5?

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the car has higher mileage or a long feature list. Focus on overall condition, signs of prior bodywork, and whether the technology, power liftgate, and other convenience features operate properly.
