Is the 2025 Volvo S60 a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Volvo S60 earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. The overview describes it as a compact luxury sedan that blends Scandinavian design, strong safety credentials, and a broad range of powertrains, with standard features like a panoramic moonroof, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 9-inch touchscreen helping it feel premium even in base form. If you want a stylish, safety-focused luxury sedan with a more individual character than the usual German alternatives, this model year fits that brief well. 34.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Volvo S60 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The overview emphasizes Volvo’s safety focus, standard City Safety on every car, and the model’s Top Safety Pick+ recognition in prior years, all of which support confidence in the car’s overall ownership experience. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is making sure the specific car has been maintained properly, especially if you’re considering a more complex powertrain configuration.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Volvo S60?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still confirm the car’s history report, because even a strong accident-free rate doesn’t replace a VIN-specific check. Put the inspection focus on overall condition, maintenance records, and how well the cabin electronics and safety systems operate. If you’re considering a plug-in hybrid example, pay extra attention to service history and any signs of prior repair work.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Volvo S60?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on the best-priced examples.

• Deal availability: 34.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 558 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices are up 6.55% year-over-year.
• Clean inventory: 89.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $31,617, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Volvo S60's resale value?

The current average of $34,341 sits slightly above last year's $32,231.

That upward move suggests the market is still willing to pay for this model year, which is a positive sign if you plan to resell later. A stronger current price can help support future trade-in or private-party value, especially when demand remains steady. The combination of premium positioning and broad shopper interest can help keep depreciation from feeling overly steep in the near term.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Volvo S60 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 34.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices are up 6.55% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the freshest version of this sedan with strong owner satisfaction, solid inventory, and a premium feature set, the 2025 is the primary path to consider. If you’re more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may give you a lower entry point while still delivering much of the same comfort-and-safety appeal, so it’s worth comparing listings side by side before you decide.
