That upward move suggests the market is still willing to pay for this model year, which can help support resale value if you buy carefully and keep the car in strong condition. The S60’s distinctive positioning, safety reputation, and premium cabin help it stand apart from more common luxury sedans. If you maintain it well and avoid examples with questionable history, you should have a better chance of preserving value when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Volvo S60 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 35.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices are up 6.78% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the freshest version of this sedan’s current formula, the 2025 is the one to target, especially if you value its safety-first character, upscale cabin, and distinctive personality. If you’re more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may give you a lower entry point while still delivering much of the same Volvo appeal, so compare condition, history, and asking price closely before deciding.
