Why it stands out
The 2025 Toyota Sequoia sets itself apart as a full-size SUV with a powerful hybrid powertrain and exceptional towing capabilities. Its standard i-Force Max hybrid system integrates a twin-turbocharged 3.4-liter V6 engine, providing 437 horsepower and 583 pound-feet of torque, making it a strong contender for those needing to tow heavy loads. The introduction of the 1794 Edition enriches the lineup by adding luxury features, including premium leather upholstery and unique styling elements that appeal to buyers looking for a combination of ruggedness and comfort.
Despite its strengths, the Sequoia does have limitations, such as its relatively poor fuel economy and cramped third-row seating, which may deter some potential buyers. Nonetheless, its spacious cargo capacity, which can reach up to 86.9 cubic feet, is appealing for those who prioritize space. The Sequoia is also equipped with modern technology and safety features, ensuring a comfortable and secure driving experience. Overall, it remains an intriguing option for buyers who need a robust vehicle for family and towing needs, though it may be overshadowed by rivals that offer better overall utility and space.

I love everything about the Sequoia except for the cargo space.

Reviewed a 2025 Toyota TRD Pro 4WD on Aug 7, 2025
I think this car is a good value. I think the gas mileage really isn't any better than my 2021 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro V8 that I traded in for the Sequoia. However the features of the 2025 Toyota Sequoia TRD Pro cannot be beat. I don't think Toyota missed a detail on this beauty. The vehicle has the smoothest ride of any vehicle I have ever been in. This SUV turns on a dime. I would compare it closest to the GMC Yukon Denali, except the Sequoia is cooler not just for it's rugged exterior but the red camo leather interior that is a perfect compliment to the Toyota Sequoia TRD Pro unique character and customer base.
