Used 2025 Toyota Sequoia for Sale nearArecibo, PR

How much does the 2025 Toyota Sequoia cost?

Prices have softened 7.65% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,345 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Toyota Sequoia a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Toyota Sequoia earns a 4.5/5 user rating and a 5.5/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel and Technology.

It stands out as Toyota’s full-size SUV, with seating for up to eight people, a truck-based platform shared with the Tundra, and a Texas-themed 1794 Edition that adds a more upscale angle. The expert review also points to stylish design, powerful performance, and easy-to-use technology as strengths.

The trade-offs are clear: the expert review calls out poor fuel economy, a cramped third row, and limited cargo space. That means you should see it as a strong fit if you want full-size SUV towing and family-hauling capability, but not if your priority is maximum interior space efficiency.

Good and great deals percentage: 38.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities in the market.

Is the 2025 Toyota Sequoia reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Sequoia’s standard hybrid powertrain is described as muscular and quick, and the expert review frames it as a vehicle built around capability rather than efficiency. That combination can be appealing if you want strong towing and everyday usability from a large SUV.

The review also notes that Toyota includes helpful tech and a broad set of standard driver-assistance features, which supports confidence in day-to-day ownership. If you plan to keep one used, the main long-term risk is that its packaging compromises and fuel economy may make it less satisfying than rivals for routine family use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Toyota Sequoia?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

Even with a strong share of clean listings, you should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection. Focus especially on how the cabin, third row, and cargo area fit your needs, since the Sequoia’s packaging is one of its biggest compromises. If you’re considering a higher-trim or off-road-equipped example, make sure the added equipment matches how you actually plan to use the SUV.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The 1794 Edition adds machined-finish 20-inch wheels, more exterior chrome, Saddle Tan leather upholstery, open pore American walnut wood trim, and all-weather floor mats. It builds on the Platinum, while the lineup also includes SR5, Limited, Platinum, TRD Pro, and Capstone.
• Powertrain: The standard i-Force Max hybrid setup pairs a twin-turbocharged 3.4-liter V6 with an electric motor and a 10-speed automatic transmission. It delivers strong output and quick acceleration, but the review says it is about competitive power rather than good gas mileage.
• Safety package: Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 includes adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, lane-centering assist, and automatic high-beam headlights. Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are also standard.
• Infotainment: The test vehicle had a 14-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel. It also supports connected services, though several advanced functions depend on subscriptions.
• Fuel efficiency: The review says a 4WD Sequoia should average 20 mpg in combined driving, but the test vehicle returned 16.2 mpg on the evaluation loop.

Which 2025 Toyota Sequoia trim should I buy?

The 2025 Toyota Sequoia is offered in 6 trim levels: SR5, Limited, Platinum, TRD Pro, Capstone, and 1794 Edition.

Here's the short version:

• SR5: This is the entry point if you want the Sequoia’s core full-size SUV capability without paying for luxury extras. It makes sense if you care most about getting into the lineup at the lowest price.
• Limited: This is the trim to target if you want a more balanced mix of equipment and value. It should be the best-value choice for many shoppers because it sits above the base model without pushing into luxury pricing.
• Platinum: This trim is the foundation for the 1794 Edition, so it’s the step up if you want a more upscale feel and more premium content.
• TRD Pro: This is the trim for buyers drawn to the off-road-oriented character in the lineup. The review’s off-road package discussion suggests this is the version to consider if that side of the Sequoia matters to you.
• Capstone: This is the top luxury-oriented trim in the lineup, so it suits you if you want the most premium presentation.
• 1794 Edition: This Texas-themed luxury model adds Saddle Tan leather, walnut wood trim, chrome accents, and 20-inch wheels. It’s the most distinctive choice if you want the Sequoia to feel more upscale and special.

Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 is standard across the lineup, and blind-spot monitoring plus rear cross-traffic alert are also included.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Toyota Sequoia?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market.

• Deal availability: 38.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,345 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.65% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 95.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $70,859, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Toyota Sequoia's resale value?

The current average of $70,859 sits slightly below last year's $76,732.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more selectively now. For a future seller, it also means you should expect resale value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and trim appeal rather than on broad market momentum alone.

Because the Sequoia is a niche full-size SUV with strong towing ability, well-kept examples should still attract attention from buyers who need that capability. Higher-demand trims and clean-history vehicles are likely to hold up better than heavily used examples with visible wear.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Toyota Sequoia safe?

The 2025 Sequoia has Toyota Safety Sense 2.5, a collection of driving assistance features that includes adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, lane-centering assist, and automatic high-beam headlights.

It earns a 5/10 safety score from our experts.

Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are also standard, which helps round out the safety package. The expert review does note a caveat: the lane assist features can be annoying, with false lane departure warnings and overly obvious lane keep assist behavior.

Should I buy a 2025 Toyota Sequoia or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 38.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.65% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2025 adds the 1794 Edition, which brings a more upscale Texas-themed luxury angle to the lineup.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $65,868, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $70,859 average.
• It offers a standard hybrid powertrain with improved fuel economy and strong towing and hauling ability.

The bottom line: If you want the newest version with the 1794 Edition and a softer market price trend, the 2025 is the better pick. If your priority is saving money and you’re comfortable with the previous year’s strengths, the 2024 is the smarter value play.
