Is the 2025 Subaru Solterra a good car?
The 2025 Subaru Solterra sits in a moderate market position, which makes it a reasonable choice if you want an electric crossover and are comfortable shopping selectively. With 33.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to find a competitive price if you compare carefully.
What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Subaru Solterra?
Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the car’s condition matches the listing details. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the battery-related systems, charging equipment, tires, brakes, and interior wear, since those areas can affect your ownership experience the most. Focus on overall condition and maintenance consistency rather than assuming every clean-title example is equally well kept.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Subaru Solterra?
This is a selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient and compare listings closely.
- Deal availability: 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 89 listings available.
- Clean inventory: 94.4% of listings are accident-free.
Should I buy a 2025 Subaru Solterra or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2025 if:
- 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
Consider the 2024 if:
- It adds meaningful EV improvements while keeping pricing steady.
Consider the 2026 if:
- It brings a new look, NACS fast charging, and more available horsepower.
The bottom line: The 2025 is the right starting point if you want to shop the current-year market and take advantage of the available deal mix. If you’re focused on value, the 2024 is the better price-sensitive path; if you want the biggest feature and capability gains, the 2026 is the stronger upgrade to consider.
