Is the 2025 Subaru Solterra a good car?
The 2025 Subaru Solterra lands in a moderate market position, and the available listings data shows 33.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals. That gives you some room to shop selectively rather than rushing into the first example you see.
With 109 listings available and 95.4% of inventory accident-free, you have a solid pool of cleaner vehicles to compare. If you want a used electric SUV with a strong share of well-priced, clean examples, this is a reasonable model to keep on your shortlist.
What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Subaru Solterra?
Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the specific car you’re considering has a clean record. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the battery, charging equipment, tires, brakes, and cabin condition, since those areas matter most on a used EV. Focus on overall maintenance and wear, not just the listing price.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Subaru Solterra?
This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and compare examples before committing.
- Deal availability: 33.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 109 listings available.
- Clean inventory: 95.4% of listings are accident-free.
Should I buy a 2025 Subaru Solterra or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2025 if:
- 33.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
Consider the 2024 if:
- It adds charging, safety, and comfort updates without a price increase.
Consider the 2026 if:
- It brings a new look, NACS fast charging, and more available horsepower.
The bottom line: The 2025 is the right starting point if you want a current-year Solterra with a decent deal share and strong clean-inventory availability. If you’re focused on value, the 2024 is the better price-sensitive alternative; if you want the biggest improvements, the 2026 is the stronger upgrade path.
