Used 2025 RAM 1500 for Sale nearColorado Springs, CO

How much does the 2025 RAM 1500 cost?

Prices have softened 8.52% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 9,766 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing trims and prices.

Is the 2025 RAM 1500 a good car?

Generally — you’re looking at a 4/5 user rating and an 8.3/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Technology at 10/10.

Owners repeatedly praise the sharp looks, smooth ride, and powerful engine options, and they also describe the truck as a standout choice for quality and finish. The overview points to premium interior materials and a spacious cabin, which lines up with the owner feedback about refinement and comfort.

The main trade-offs are that some shoppers feel the price is steep and the touchscreen features could be better. The expert review also notes that advanced safety features are not standard, even though the truck adds a lot of new tech and a hands-free driver-assistance system for 2025.

With a 35.2% good-or-great deal share, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive listing if you shop carefully.

Is the 2025 RAM 1500 reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner summary points to a truck that feels quality-built, smooth, and powerful, while also describing it as a standout choice. That kind of feedback usually lines up with a vehicle you can count on over time, especially when the ownership experience feels polished rather than rough around the edges.

The expert review also emphasizes smooth-shifting powertrains and a comfortable ride, which supports the impression of dependable day-to-day use. Ram also says the new engine architecture is more efficient, which can help reduce ownership strain if you plan to keep the truck for the long haul.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that higher-end tech and advanced driver-assistance features can add complexity, so condition and maintenance history matter.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 RAM 1500?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-trim truck with more electronics and driver-assistance equipment. Focus on cabin condition, touchscreen operation, and whether the truck’s comfort and tech features work as intended.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup includes a base Tradesman with an 8.4-inch flush screen, while higher trims add more premium materials, a larger display setup, and features like the 10.25-inch passenger screen. The base trim also misses some of the upscale touches and convenience equipment that make the upper trims feel especially refined.
• Powertrain: The base engine is the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6, while the optional upgrade is the 3.0-liter Hurricane twin-turbo inline-six in standard-output and high-output forms. Ram says the newer engine architecture delivers better efficiency, and the stronger version is aimed at buyers who want more power.
• Safety package: The available Hands-Free Driving Assist system can handle lane centering, speed changes, and following distance on approved roads, and newly enhanced automatic emergency braking adds evasive steering assist. Blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, traffic-sign recognition, and the surround-view camera are not standard.
• Infotainment: An 8.4-inch flush screen is standard, a 12-inch screen is available, and the truck can be equipped with a 14.5-inch touchscreen running Uconnect 5. The available passenger screen, wireless charging, and digital displays add a lot of tech appeal if you want a more modern cabin.
• Fuel efficiency: Ram says the new engine architecture translates to better MPGs, even during towing, but no figure is stated here.

Which 2025 RAM 1500 trim should I buy?

The 2025 RAM 1500 is offered in 5 trim levels: Tradesman, Laramie, Rebel, Limited, Tungsten.

Here's the short version:

• Tradesman: This is the entry point, and it gives you the core truck experience with the standard 8.4-inch screen and the lowest starting price. It makes sense if you want the most affordable path into the lineup and can live without the luxury and tech upgrades that define the higher trims.
• Laramie: This is the best-value trim if you want a meaningful step up in tech, because it unlocks the 10.25-inch passenger screen and more upscale cabin content. It’s a strong choice if you want a more premium feel without jumping all the way to the top of the range.
• Rebel: This is the trim to choose if you want the truck’s off-road character, since the review highlights its available off-road capability and specialized hardware. It suits you best if trail use matters more than luxury appointments.
• Limited: This trim leans hard into comfort and premium presentation, with more upscale interior treatment and the kind of equipment that makes the cabin feel near-luxury. It’s a good fit if you want a refined daily driver with plenty of features.
• Tungsten: This is the top trim and the most luxurious version, with the richest materials, exclusive interior treatment, and the most feature-rich presentation. Choose it if you want the most upscale RAM 1500 experience and are willing to pay for it.

Advanced safety features are not standard, so check carefully for the driver-assistance equipment you want on the specific truck you’re considering.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 RAM 1500?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 35.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 9,766 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.52% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 92.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $42,857, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 RAM 1500's resale value?

The current average of $42,857 sits slightly below last year's $46,850.

That softer pricing suggests the truck is currently more buyer-friendly than it was a year ago, which can help you if you’re shopping used now. For a future seller, it also means you may need to price competitively if the market stays soft.

Even so, the truck’s strong owner satisfaction and premium reputation should help support demand. Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 RAM 1500 safe?

The 2025 RAM 1500 earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

The available Hands-Free Driving Assist system can maintain speed, distance, and lane position on approved roadways, and it can handle lane changes when you activate the turn signal. Newly enhanced automatic emergency braking adds evasive steering assist, and the truck’s cameras can detect a cyclist or motorcycle in the blind spot.

The main caveat is that advanced safety features are not standard. Blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, traffic-sign recognition, and the surround-view camera are also not standard, so you’ll want to verify equipment carefully on any used listing.

Should I buy a 2025 RAM 1500 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 35.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.52% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• The 2025 update adds lots of new tech and a hands-free driver-assistance system.

Consider the 2026 if:

• At $51,103, the 2026 costs more than the current year's $42,857 average.
• It brings back the Hemi V8.

The bottom line: If you want the better value, the 2025 is the smarter buy because pricing has softened and the update brings major tech gains. If you specifically want the Hemi V8, the 2026 is the better path, but you’ll pay more for it.
