Used 2025 Nissan Murano for Sale nearApache Junction, AZ

How much does the 2025 Nissan Murano cost?

Prices have softened 15.04% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,868 listings available, which suggests you have a decent amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Nissan Murano a good car?

Generally — the 2025 Nissan Murano earns a 4/5 user rating and a 7.5/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Technology, and Safety.

The data points to a crossover that leans upscale for the brand, with a stylish redesign, an extremely comfortable front row, and a new powertrain that improves drivability. It also brings a fresh set of tech and comfort features to the lineup, which helps it feel more modern than before.

The trade-offs are real, though: backseat legroom is poor, true hands-free driving is not available, and some features were removed from the middle trim for 2025. If you want a more premium-feeling crossover and value comfort up front, this one fits that brief well.

Good and great deals share: 35.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Nissan Murano reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2025 Murano’s redesign brings a new powertrain and updated equipment, and the expert notes point to a torquier engine paired with a nine-speed automatic instead of the older CVT. That matters because the new setup is described as a substantial improvement for passing and everyday response.

The model also adds more advanced driver-assistance and visibility tech, which supports confidence in daily use. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about basic competence and more about whether you’re comfortable with the trim-level feature changes and the premium positioning of the newer generation.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Nissan Murano?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report, confirm the trim and equipment match the listing, and prioritize a careful inspection of the cabin, electronics, and driver-assistance features. Because this model year introduced a lot of new content, it’s worth making sure every feature you care about is actually present and functioning as advertised.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base trim gets the new look and standard tech, but the SL adds the glass-inspired dash treatment, Google Built-In, a Bose audio system, and more advanced visibility features. The middle trim also lost genuine leather seating surfaces for 2025, so compare cabin materials carefully if that matters to you.
• Powertrain: The 2025 model uses a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine with a nine-speed automatic transmission. It is rated at 241 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, and the new setup is described as torquier and more responsive than the old CVT-based approach.
• Safety package: Nissan Safety Shield 360 is standard, including lane-departure warning, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection. ProPILOT Assist is also included, while SL and Platinum trims get ProPILOT Assist 1.1 with navigation-based speed adjustment.
• Infotainment: Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, along with wireless charging and a dual 12.3-inch screen setup. SL trims add Google Built-In, and the Platinum adds a head-up display.
• Fuel efficiency: The Murano is rated at 21 mpg city, 27 mpg highway, and 23 mpg combined.

Which 2025 Nissan Murano trim should I buy?

The 2025 Nissan Murano is offered in 3 trim levels: SV, SL, Platinum.

Here's the short version:

• SV: This is the entry point, but it still gives you the new powertrain, standard wireless smartphone integration, wireless charging, and Nissan Safety Shield 360. It makes the most sense if you want the redesigned Murano at the lowest price and are comfortable skipping the extra luxury and convenience upgrades.
• SL: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds Google Built-In, a 10-speaker Bose audio system, 64-color ambient lighting, and more advanced visibility tech. It also gets the more advanced ProPILOT Assist 1.1, making it the sweet spot if you want the richest feature set without going all the way to the top trim.
• Platinum: Choose this if you want the most upscale Murano experience, including the head-up display and the highest-end presentation. It is the trim to target if you care most about premium features and are willing to pay for them.

SL and Platinum trims also get the more advanced safety and visibility package, including the 3D Intelligent Around View Monitor and Invisible Hood View.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Nissan Murano?

The market looks moderate and selective buyers should have some leverage.

• Deal availability: 35.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,868 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.04% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 94.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $32,915, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Nissan Murano's resale value?

The current average of $32,915 sits slightly below last year's $38,743.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable point in the cycle. For a future seller, it also means you should expect resale value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and trim content rather than assuming the model will hold its price simply because it is newer.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Nissan Murano safe?

The 2025 Murano earns a Top Safety Pick+ rating from IIHS.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Nissan Safety Shield 360 is standard, with lane-departure warning, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection. ProPILOT Assist is also included, and SL and Platinum trims upgrade to ProPILOT Assist 1.1 with navigation-based speed adjustments. Higher trims also add the 3D Intelligent Around View Monitor with moving-object detection and Invisible Hood View.

A key caveat is that true hands-free driving is not available, even on the top trim.

Should I buy a 2025 Nissan Murano or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 35.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.04% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• The 2025 model brings a new powertrain and a major redesign, along with fresh tech and comfort features that weren’t part of the previous generation.

The bottom line: If you want the newest Murano with the most up-to-date design, tech, and comfort upgrades, the 2025 is the clear path. If your priority is spending less, a nearby older model year may still make sense, especially if you can live without the newest cabin and powertrain changes.
