There are 1,615 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLS a good car?

The 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLS stands out as the roomiest vehicle in the Mercedes-Benz lineup, with three rows of seating for six or seven people and up to 94 cubic feet of cargo space. It is positioned as a full-size SUV that blends the comfort and space of the S-Class luxury sedan with some off-road capability, which helps explain its appeal to families who want a large, upscale vehicle without giving up Mercedes refinement.

It also brings a curvier, smoother exterior and a wide-screened, tech-forward cabin, along with standard dual 12.3-inch displays, MBUX, navigation, a Burmester surround sound stereo, SiriusXM, nine USB-C ports, wireless charging, heated front seats, MB-Tex upholstery, a sunroof, and three years of Mercedes Me Connect services. The GLS adds power-folding third-row seats, power-adjustable second-row seats, and a seat-adjustment function that automatically moves the seat in front when a rear seat is folded, which makes day-to-day use easier.

For you, that means the GLS makes the most sense if you want a luxury three-row SUV that prioritizes comfort, space, and technology over sheer size bragging rights. 36.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLS reliable?

The 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLS is presented as a polished, comfort-focused luxury SUV with strong technology and the kind of upscale presentation you expect from Mercedes-Benz. Its appeal comes from how it packages luxury and utility together, rather than from chasing extreme size or complexity.

The buying guide also points to third-row seat access, touch-sensing controls, a potentially polarizing design, and some ergonomic issues among its drawbacks. For long-term ownership, that means you should expect a premium SUV experience, but you should also be prepared to pay close attention to usability and upkeep as the miles add up.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLS?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the specific listing matches the seller’s description. A pre-purchase inspection is especially important on a luxury three-row SUV, since you’ll want to check the condition of the seats, controls, electronics, and cargo-area hardware. Focus on overall wear and how well the cabin features work, because that’s where you’re most likely to notice differences between listings.

What is the 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLS's resale value?

The current average of $78,249 sits slightly below last year's $88,811.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more confidently today. A clean history and strong condition will matter more when it comes time to resell.

Should I buy a 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLS or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 36.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.89% compared with last year.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $69,158, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $78,249 average.
• It adds fresh styling, more standard equipment, and updated infotainment.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It emphasizes more passenger room, cargo space, and refined driving dynamics.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of current pricing, inventory depth, and clean listings, the 2025 is the primary path to consider. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2024 is the better secondary option, especially if its updates are enough for your needs.
