Used 2025 Lincoln Aviator for Sale nearAurora, IL

How much does the 2025 Lincoln Aviator cost?

Prices have softened 11.32% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 911 listings available, which suggests you have a workable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Lincoln Aviator a good car?

Yes — 5/5 from users and 7.83/10 from our experts point to a strong overall showing. The 2025 Aviator fits you well if you want a midsize, three-row luxury SUV that emphasizes calm, unhurried comfort and distinctive styling rather than flash. It also brings some of the most advanced technology in its class, along with a simplified twin-turbo V6 lineup that keeps the focus on smooth power.

The trade-offs are real: fuel economy is poor, the ride can get harsh on 22-inch wheels, and the third row is cramped. Even so, the combination of quiet-road manners, upscale presentation, and strong tech makes it compelling if your priorities lean toward luxury and ease of use.

The model scores 9/10 across Technology and Safety.

Good and great deals percentage: 33.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Lincoln Aviator reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The 2025 Aviator’s reliability case is helped by its straightforward single-engine lineup and its emphasis on comfort-oriented engineering rather than complexity for complexity’s sake. Its twin-turbo V6 is described as a great engine, and the SUV’s ownership package includes complimentary valet pick-up and drop-off service for scheduled maintenance.

That said, you should still expect the usual used-luxury-SUV ownership risks, especially if the vehicle has large wheels, higher mileage, or a long list of optional equipment that may need attention over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Lincoln Aviator?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies. Even so, you should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on higher-priced examples with optional packages. Focus on tire and wheel condition, suspension behavior, and whether the cabin electronics and driver-assistance features operate as intended.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: Premiere, Reserve, and Black Label each bring a different luxury presentation, and the base trim is the one most likely to leave you wanting more equipment. The Reserve II Package adds desirable upgrades such as 30-way-adjustable front seats with massage, heated and ventilated second-row seats, a 28-speaker Revel Ultima audio system, and 22-inch wheels.
• Powertrain: The only engine is a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 with 400 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. It is strong and smooth, but it is not efficient.
• Safety package: Lincoln Co-Pilot360 Drive 2.0 is standard, and it includes active blind-spot monitoring with trailer coverage, intersection assist, evasive steering assist, reverse braking assist, adaptive cruise control, lane-centering assist, and BlueCruise with a complimentary four-year subscription.
• Infotainment: You get a 13.2-inch touchscreen, a 12.4-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Google Built-in, Alexa Built-in, and available head-up display support.
• Fuel efficiency: The official EPA fuel economy rating is 20 mpg in combined driving.

Which 2025 Lincoln Aviator trim should I buy?

The 2025 Lincoln Aviator is offered in 3 trim levels: Premiere, Reserve, and Black Label.

Here's the short version:

• Premiere: This is the entry point, and it gives you the Aviator’s core luxury-SUV formula without the higher price of the upper trims. It makes sense if you want the design, power, and tech without stretching for extras.
• Reserve: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds a more upscale feel and is the trim used for many of the Aviator’s desirable comfort and tech upgrades. If you want the sweet spot between price and equipment, start here.
• Black Label: This is the most luxurious version and is the one to choose if you want the most premium presentation and are willing to pay for it.

The standard safety package is strong across the lineup, so you do not need to move up a trim just to get the core driver-assistance tech.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Lincoln Aviator?

This is a moderate buyer’s market, so you can shop selectively without expecting a deep bargain on every listing.

• Deal availability: 33.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 911 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.32% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 93.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $59,572, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Lincoln Aviator's resale value?

The current average of $59,572 sits slightly below last year's $67,176. That kind of price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer today but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon.

For a future seller, the key takeaway is that the Aviator’s value will likely depend on condition, mileage, and equipment more than on broad market momentum. Well-kept examples with desirable features should hold up better than heavily used ones with wear from large wheels or expensive options.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Lincoln Aviator safe?

The 2025 Aviator earns five-star ratings across the board from NHTSA, plus a four-star rating for rollover resistance. It also receives Good ratings in all completed IIHS evaluations.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard Lincoln Co-Pilot360 Drive 2.0 brings a broad set of driver-assistance features, including active blind-spot monitoring with trailer coverage, intersection assist, evasive steering assist, reverse braking assist, adaptive cruise control, lane-centering assist, and BlueCruise. BlueCruise is standard and includes a complimentary four-year subscription, which adds hands-free driving capability on approved highways.

One caveat is that reverse braking assist can be overly sensitive in some situations, and blind-spot warnings on the head-up display require a turn signal input first.

Should I buy a 2025 Lincoln Aviator or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 33.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.32% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It adds fresh styling, new thematic packages, and some of the segment’s most advanced technology.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It leans more upscale and refined for buyers who want a more luxurious step-up feel.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger value proposition and the current-year mix of softened pricing, high accident-free inventory, and advanced tech, the 2025 is the better path. If your priority is a more premium-feeling cabin and you are less focused on price, the 2026 is worth a look. For most used buyers, the 2025 is the smarter buy; for shoppers who are highly price-sensitive, the 2025’s current market softness makes it especially attractive.
