Is the 2025 Lexus ES a good car?

The 2025 Lexus ES stands out as a midsize luxury sedan built around comfort, refinement, and an understated personality rather than flash. It delivers a quiet, pampering ride, a luxurious interior, and generous standard equipment, which makes it appealing if you want a reliable, affordable luxury sedan instead of something sporty.

It also offers a front-wheel-drive layout and a smooth, everyday driving character that favors ease of use over aggressive performance. If you value comfort, equipment, and a relaxed ownership experience, the ES fits that brief well. 38.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Lexus ES reliable?

The 2025 Lexus ES is presented as a strong choice for buyers who want a reliable, affordable luxury sedan with a comfort-first mission. Its appeal comes from a long-running formula centered on smoothness, refinement, and everyday usability.

That makes it a sensible used buy if you want a car that should be easy to live with over time, especially compared with more performance-focused luxury sedans. For long-term ownership, your main risk is less about the car's mission and more about finding one that has been maintained well and not worn hard.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Lexus ES?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and verify that the car's condition matches the listing photos and description. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection if you want extra confidence, especially on a luxury sedan where comfort features and interior condition matter a lot. Focus on signs of wear, maintenance consistency, and whether the car feels as refined in person as it does on paper.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Lexus ES?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 38.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 927 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices are up 3.22% year-over-year.
• Clean inventory: 91.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $43,946, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Lexus ES's resale value?

The current average of $46,520 sits slightly above last year's $45,068.

That price movement suggests the ES is holding value reasonably well in the current market. For a future seller, that can be a positive sign because steady demand and a relatively tight price range often support resale strength. If you keep the car in clean condition and maintain it consistently, you should be in a better position when it's time to trade or sell.

Should I buy a 2025 Lexus ES or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 38.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices are up 3.22% year-over-year.

The bottom line: If you want the newest version of the ES with strong inventory quality and a comfort-first luxury experience, the 2025 is the primary path to consider. If you're more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may give you a lower entry point while still delivering the same basic ES formula, so it's worth comparing the market closely before you commit.
