How much does the 2025 Lexus ES cost?

There are 876 listings available, which gives you a meaningful amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2025 Lexus ES a good car?

The 2025 Lexus ES stands out as a midsize luxury sedan built around comfort, refinement, and an understated personality rather than flash. It is presented as a quiet, pampering car with a soft ride and a luxurious interior, and it also offers generous standard equipment for the money.

That makes it a strong fit if you want a reliable, affordable luxury sedan that prioritizes smoothness and everyday ease of use over sporty driving dynamics. The tradeoff is that it is not especially exciting to drive or look at, so it works best if your priorities lean toward comfort and value.

39.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2025 Lexus ES reliable?

The 2025 Lexus ES is described as a strong choice for buyers who want a reliable, affordable luxury sedan rather than something sporty. Its comfort-first mission and everyday usability are central to its appeal.

For used buyers, that generally points to lower long-term ownership risk if you stay focused on well-kept examples and avoid neglected cars with deferred maintenance.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Lexus ES?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and verify that the car has a clean title and consistent service records. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you are considering a higher-mileage example or one priced near the top of the market. Focus on overall condition, interior wear, and evidence of careful ownership, since those details matter most in a comfort-oriented luxury sedan.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Lexus ES?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you have room to compare listings and wait for the right example.

• Deal availability: 39.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 876 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices are up 3.41% year-over-year.
• Clean inventory: 91.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $43,944, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Lexus ES's resale value?

The current average of $46,385 sits slightly above last year's $44,856.

That price movement suggests the market has held up well, which is a positive sign if you plan to sell later. A model year that is still appreciating year over year can support stronger resale expectations, especially when demand remains steady and clean examples are relatively common. If you keep the car in good condition and maintain it well, you should be in a better position when it is time to trade or sell.

Should I buy a 2025 Lexus ES or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 39.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices are up 3.41% year-over-year.

The bottom line: If you want the newest version in this range and value a comfort-first luxury sedan with strong inventory and a healthy share of deal-priced listings, the 2025 is the primary path to consider. If you are more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may give you a lower entry point while preserving much of the ES formula, so it is worth comparing the market carefully before you commit.
