Is the 2025 Lexus ES a good car?

The 2025 Lexus ES is a strong choice if you want a quiet, comfort-first luxury sedan with a roomy cabin, a soft ride, and a generous equipment list for the money. It is also framed as a practical luxury-sedan option, with strong value and good comfort, while its tradeoff is that it is not especially exciting to drive or look at.

That makes it a better fit if you care more about refinement and everyday ease than sporty handling or aggressive styling. With 38.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful share of the market to shop from.

Is the 2025 Lexus ES reliable?

The 2025 Lexus ES is presented as a refinement-focused sedan with a broad feature set and a carryover formula for the year, which supports its appeal for buyers who want a straightforward luxury car experience. Its comfort-first setup and emphasis on everyday usability make it an easy car to live with.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about excitement and more about making sure the specific car you choose has been maintained well and shows no signs of neglect.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Lexus ES?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report on any car you are seriously considering and confirm that the title, service records, and mileage all line up. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection if the car has higher mileage, incomplete records, or signs of cosmetic or mechanical wear. Focus on overall condition, because a clean example is likely to be the best ownership experience.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Lexus ES?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 38.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 808 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices are up 3.34% year-over-year.
• Clean inventory: 92.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $43,947, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Lexus ES's resale value?

The current average of $46,349 sits slightly above last year's $44,852.

That suggests the market has held up well, which can help support resale value if you buy carefully and keep the car in strong condition. The year-over-year increase also signals that demand has remained steady enough to keep prices from softening. For a future seller, that means a well-kept ES should remain appealing to shoppers who want comfort and value in a luxury sedan.

Should I buy a 2025 Lexus ES or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 38.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices are up 3.34% year-over-year.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the right pick if you want the latest version of this comfort-first luxury sedan and you value a broad pool of clean, reasonably priced listings. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby model year may be worth a look, but the 2025 remains the better choice when you want a current-year ES with strong market support and a straightforward shopping experience.
