How much does the 2025 Kia Soul cost?

Prices have softened 9.33% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,833 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of used examples to compare.

Is the 2025 Kia Soul a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction, and the 2025 Soul’s appeal comes from its roomy interior, broad feature content, and practical packaging. The overview also frames it as a small vehicle that is affordable, useful, and a little unusual without becoming impractical, which makes it a fit if you want everyday usability with a distinctive shape. It is especially worth considering if you value a lot of space inside and a lot of standard features across trims.

36.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Kia Soul reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview says later Soul models have more connectivity, safety, power, and convenience features, and it also notes that the 2024 and 2025 model years are the best choices because they offer the most modern features and safety at reasonable prices. That combination suggests a used 2025 Soul should feel current and well-equipped for daily driving.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure recall work has been completed and the vehicle has been maintained carefully.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Kia Soul?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then confirm that any recall work has been completed before you move forward. After that, focus your inspection on overall condition, since a clean-looking listing still needs a careful check for signs of prior damage, poor repairs, or neglected maintenance.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Kia Soul?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 36.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,833 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.33% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $16,902, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Kia Soul's resale value?

The current average of $18,861 sits slightly below last year's $20,803.

That price movement suggests the market has eased, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also mean future resale gains are limited if prices continue to soften. For a future seller, the upside is that the Soul’s practical packaging and broad appeal can still support demand, especially if the vehicle is clean and well maintained. The current inventory mix also suggests buyers have choices, so condition and history will matter when it is time to resell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Kia Soul or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 36.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.33% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the most current version of the Soul with strong feature content and a favorable used-market price trend, the 2025 is the primary year to target. If you are especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby model years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the benefit of the 2025’s newer feature set and stronger market positioning.
