Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should start with the history report so you can confirm accident status and spot any red flags before you go further. Because this model is valued for practicality and convenience, you should focus on overall condition and maintenance quality rather than just the lowest asking price.

That price movement suggests the market has eased, which can help you buy more favorably now but may also mean future resale gains are more limited if prices stay soft. Its practical appeal and value-focused positioning should help keep it relevant with budget-minded shoppers.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Kia Soul or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 36.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.84% compared with last year.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2025 if you want the Soul’s quirky styling, practical interior space, and a market that currently gives you some negotiating room. If you are especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby model years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the 2025’s combination of inventory, condition mix, and value trend.
