How much does the 2025 Hyundai Elantra cost?

There are 5,726 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for used-car shoppers.

Is the 2025 Hyundai Elantra a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Hyundai Elantra earns a 4.67/5 user rating, which supports its appeal as a practical, durable, and stylish compact sedan. The overview describes it as one of the roomiest and most refined compact cars in its class, with a broad range of versions that includes hybrid and performance-oriented choices. It also comes with a strong equipment list, including an 8-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and Hyundai’s SmartSense driver-assistance suite.

For shoppers who want a roomy, tech-rich compact sedan with strong warranty coverage, it fits the bill well. 37.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Hyundai Elantra reliable?

Owners rate it 4.67/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview points to durability, peace of mind, and strong warranty coverage as major strengths, including a 5-Year/60,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty and a 10-Year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty. That combination makes the Elantra especially appealing if you want a used compact sedan that should be easier to live with over time.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is choosing a car that has been poorly maintained or has hidden damage, so condition matters as much as the model’s reputation.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Hyundai Elantra?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then focus on a pre-purchase inspection if the car looks promising. Pay close attention to overall condition, since the model’s appeal depends heavily on finding one that has been cared for well and still feels tight, clean, and complete.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Hyundai Elantra?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 37.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 5,726 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.60% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 88.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $20,884, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Hyundai Elantra's resale value?

The current average of $21,006 sits slightly below last year's $21,790.

That softer pricing suggests the model is currently more buyer-friendly than seller-friendly, which can matter if you plan to trade it in soon. For a future seller, the good news is that the Elantra’s broad appeal, strong equipment, and practical reputation can help keep demand steady. The downside is that a lower current market average can limit upside if you buy at the wrong price.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.67/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Hyundai Elantra or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 37.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.60% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.67/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $19,579, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $21,006 average.
• It adds more style and standard equipment.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger current-market mix of inventory, deal availability, and updated appeal, the 2025 is the better default choice. If your priority is saving money up front, the 2024 is the smarter path and still gives you many of the Elantra’s core strengths.
