Used 2025 Honda Ridgeline for Sale nearMadrid, NY

How much does the 2025 Honda Ridgeline cost?

Prices have softened 7.62% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,591 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable number of options to compare.

Is the 2025 Honda Ridgeline a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Honda Ridgeline earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.83/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Form and function at 9/10.

Honda’s approach is different from most midsize pickups: it uses unibody construction, standard all-wheel drive, and clever storage solutions to make the truck easier to live with. That lines up well with its comfortable ride and great handling, especially if you want a pickup that feels more like an everyday vehicle than a rugged workhorse.

The trade-offs are clear, though. It does not offer the towing capacity or off-road capability of more traditional trucks, and its technology is described as outdated.

With 34.7% of listings priced as good or great deals, the market still gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Honda Ridgeline reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Ridgeline’s unibody construction and refined road manners support its reputation for being easy to live with, and the expert evaluation describes it as a good, basic truck with overall refinement and clever design features. Its V6 and nine-speed automatic are described as an excellent combination, with smooth, responsive power delivery and solid everyday drivability.

Honda also backs it with a three-year, 36,000-mile limited warranty and a five-year, 60,000-mile powertrain warranty. The first scheduled maintenance visit is on the house.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that its strengths are comfort and usability rather than heavy-duty capability, so it’s best if your needs stay within its limits.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Honda Ridgeline?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the truck’s condition matches the listing photos and description. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection if you’re considering a higher-mileage example or one that may have seen hard use. Focus on wear items, interior condition, and evidence of towing or off-pavement use.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Ridgeline remains unique among pickups because it uses a unibody platform, and the lineup includes Sport, RTL, TrailSport, and Black Edition. The base Sport is the least expensive way in, while the TrailSport adds an off-road-focused setup with all-terrain tires, unique suspension tuning, and a front skid plate. The Black Edition sits at the top with the most upscale presentation and extra equipment.
• Powertrain: Every 2025 Ridgeline uses a 3.5-liter V6 with 280 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque, paired with a nine-speed automatic and standard all-wheel drive. The V6 is smooth and responsive, and the transmission is tuned for quick kickdowns and easy everyday driving.
• Safety package: Honda Sensing is the standard driver-assistance suite, and it includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and Road Departure Mitigation. The lack of a 360-degree camera system is a notable gap.
• Infotainment: All Ridgeline models come with a 9-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and wireless phone charging. SiriusXM is standard on all but the base Sport, and the Black Edition gets an eight-speaker audio system.
• Fuel efficiency: Most models return 21 mpg combined (18 mpg city, 24 mpg highway), while TrailSport models are slightly less efficient.

Which 2025 Honda Ridgeline trim should I buy?

The 2025 Honda Ridgeline is offered in 4 trim levels: Sport, RTL, TrailSport, and Black Edition.

Here's the short version:

• Sport: This is the entry point, and it gives you the Ridgeline’s core strengths: standard AWD, the V6, and the same basic comfort-and-usability formula as the rest of the lineup. It makes sense if you want the lowest starting price and don’t need extra luxury or off-road hardware.
• RTL: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds more comfort and convenience without moving into the pricier upper end of the range. If you want a more polished daily driver, this is the trim to focus on first.
• TrailSport: Choose this if you want the most off-road-oriented Ridgeline. It adds all-terrain tires, unique suspension tuning, and a front skid plate, but it still isn’t a hardcore off-roader.
• Black Edition: This is the top trim, and it’s the one to choose if you want the most upscale Ridgeline with the richest feature set and the most premium presentation.

Honda Sensing is standard across the lineup.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Honda Ridgeline?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 34.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,591 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.62% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 92.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $36,062, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Honda Ridgeline's resale value?

The current average of $36,062 sits slightly below last year's $39,035.

That price movement suggests the Ridgeline has become more accessible to used buyers, which can help future sellers if demand stays steady. Because the model is distinctive and well liked by owners, it may continue to attract shoppers who value comfort and practicality over maximum truck capability.

The current pricing also implies that depreciation has already moved the truck into a more approachable range for used shoppers. If you buy well now and keep the truck in strong condition, you may be better positioned when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Honda Ridgeline safe?

The 2025 Honda Ridgeline earns a five-star overall rating from NHTSA, with five-star frontal and side crash ratings and four-star rollover ratings. It also earns a Good score in the updated IIHS side crash test, a Good score in the original moderate front overlap test, an Acceptable score in the small overlap front test, and a Marginal headlight rating.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Honda Sensing is the standard driver-assistance suite, and it includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and Road Departure Mitigation. The system is generally unobtrusive, though the adaptive cruise control can be slow to accelerate when traffic clears.

The lack of a 360-degree camera system is a notable shortcoming, and the headlight rating is another area to keep in mind.

Should I buy a 2025 Honda Ridgeline or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 34.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.62% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It carries over unchanged after the 2024 updates, so you’re getting the latest version of that refreshed formula.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $34,408, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $36,062 average.
• It added a new TrailSport trim and tech updates that made the truck more appealing.

The bottom line: If you want the newest version of the Ridgeline’s current formula and are comfortable paying a bit more, the 2025 is the cleaner choice. If your priority is saving money while still getting the Ridgeline’s comfort, practicality, and everyday usability, the 2024 is the smarter value play.
