How much does the 2025 Honda CR-V cost?

Prices have softened 3.82% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 7,143 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for comparison shopping.

Is the 2025 Honda CR-V a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Honda CR-V earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its excellent fuel efficiency, comfortable interior, and top-notch tech features, and they also highlight its handling and performance as standout qualities. That lines up well with its role as a practical compact crossover for buyers who want a roomy, easy-to-live-with daily driver. With 40.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, you also have a decent amount of market flexibility while shopping.

Is the 2025 Honda CR-V reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also emphasizes reliability, with reviewers describing the CR-V in terms that align with dependable, trouble-free ownership. That matters if you want a used SUV you can count on for everyday commuting and family duty. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about the model’s reputation and more about finding one that has been maintained well and not worn down by heavy use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Honda CR-V?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report so you can confirm title status, prior damage, and service patterns. A pre-purchase inspection is worth prioritizing, especially if you’re comparing multiple listings and want to separate clean examples from ones with hidden wear. Focus on overall condition, including interior wear, tire condition, and how well the cabin features and controls work in daily use.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Honda CR-V?

Yes — this looks like a buyer-friendly market with meaningful inventory and a healthy share of discounted listings.

• Deal availability: 40.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 7,143 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.82% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 90.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $31,133, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Honda CR-V's resale value?

The current average of $31,133 sits slightly below last year's $32,368.

That price movement suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also mean resale gains are more modest in the near term. If you plan to sell later, a well-kept CR-V should still benefit from steady shopper interest because it fits the practical, efficient crossover formula many used buyers want. Strong demand for roomy, fuel-efficient SUVs can help support value retention even when broader prices soften.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Honda CR-V or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 40.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.82% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the right pick if you want the strongest mix of owner satisfaction, current pricing, and available inventory in this generation. If you’re especially price-sensitive, a nearby model year may be worth comparing, but the 2025 gives you a compelling balance of value and confidence.
