You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the listing matches the seller’s claims about ownership and maintenance. Pay close attention to overall condition, because premium materials and features are part of the value you’re paying for.

Should I buy a 2025 Genesis GV70 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 37.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 22.53% compared with last year.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $38,794, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $36,201 average.
• It adds an all-electric option.

Consider the 2026 if:

• At $52,392, the 2026 costs more than the current year's $36,201 average.
• It adds a wide OLED display and upgraded software.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the best primary pick if you want the strongest mix of price, inventory, and clean listings. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2024 is worth a look for its broader powertrain lineup, while the 2026 makes sense if you want the newer interior tech and can stretch your budget.
