Used 2025 Genesis G80 for Sale near Oklahoma

How much does the 2025 Genesis G80 cost?

Prices have softened 5.78% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 325 listings available, which suggests a modest but workable amount of inventory for shoppers.

Is the 2025 Genesis G80 a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Genesis G80 earns a 5/5 user rating and an 8.2/10 expert rating, which supports its reputation as a strong value in the midsize luxury sedan class. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Safety.

It stands out as a good-looking, feature-rich, well-priced luxury sedan with a sophisticated feel and premium interior materials. The ride quality is a clear strength, and it is especially appealing if you want a lot of content for the money.

The trade-offs are straightforward: performance is not its strongest suit, and fuel economy is also a weak point. Even so, the overall package is aimed at buyers who care more about comfort, design, and equipment than outright speed.

31.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Genesis G80 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The G80 is positioned as a comfortable, well-equipped luxury sedan with a strong value proposition, and its expert evaluation emphasizes a calm, polished driving character. Its powertrain is described as competent rather than thrilling, and the car is framed as a refined cruiser for commuting and road trips.

Genesis also backs the car with three years or 36,000 miles of complimentary scheduled maintenance, which helps reduce early ownership costs.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about basic dependability and more about whether the car’s premium features and complex equipment have been maintained properly.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Genesis G80?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a luxury sedan with a lot of standard equipment. Focus on overall condition, feature operation, and signs of wear in the cabin and electronics, since this model leans heavily on technology and comfort features.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: Base models already bring a rich look, but the Advanced trim adds wood trim, while Sport Advanced and Sport Prestige bring more upscale visual and material upgrades. The base model uses leatherette seating surfaces, so check whether the interior finish matches your expectations.
• Powertrain: The G80 offers a 2.5-liter turbocharged engine with 300 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque, while the available 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 delivers 375 horsepower and 391 lb-ft of torque. The car is tuned more for smooth cruising than quick acceleration, and fuel economy is a weak point.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward collision avoidance assist, lane keep assist, lane following assist, speed limit assist, forward and rear park-distance warning, blind-spot avoidance tech, and Highway Drive Assist. Upper trims add side park-distance warning and assist, Smart Park, rear occupant alert, and a blind-spot monitor with a video feed in the gauge cluster.
• Infotainment: The cabin centers on a 27-inch OLED display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto standard. It also includes fingerprint authentication, and Smart Park is available on higher trims.
• Fuel efficiency: The EPA gives the smaller engine a combined rating of 24 miles per gallon, while the twin-turbo V6 drops to 19 mpg combined.

Which 2025 Genesis G80 trim should I buy?

The 2025 Genesis G80 is offered in 4 trim levels: Base, Advanced, Sport Advanced and Sport Prestige.

Here's the short version:

• Base: This is the value play if you want the G80’s core luxury experience without stretching the budget. You still get the upscale design, strong standard equipment, and the model’s comfort-first character, but you give up some of the richer interior touches found higher up the range.
• Advanced: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds wood trim and a more polished cabin feel without jumping all the way to the sport-oriented versions. If you want the sweet spot between price and luxury ambiance, this is the one to target.
• Sport Advanced: Choose this if you want a more upscale, more aggressively dressed G80 with additional visual and equipment upgrades. It suits you best if you care about presentation and want more of the top-trim feel without going all the way to the most expensive version.
• Sport Prestige: This is the fully loaded choice, bringing carbon fiber trim, shiny alloy pedals, Nappa leather seats and a micro-suede headliner. It is the right pick if you want the richest cabin and do not mind paying for it.

Upper trims add side park-distance warning and assist, Smart Park and rear occupant alert.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Genesis G80?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 31.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 325 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.78% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 94.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $52,860, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Genesis G80's resale value?

The current average of $52,860 sits slightly below last year's $56,106.

That softer pricing can help you buy more favorably now, but it also means future sellers may need to stay competitive when it is time to list. A model that already sits below its prior-year average can be attractive to used buyers, especially when it offers strong equipment and a premium feel.

The G80’s value story is still supported by its broad appeal as a comfortable, well-equipped luxury sedan. If demand stays steady, that combination can help cushion resale performance over time.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Genesis G80 safe?

The 2025 Genesis G80 earns a five-star overall safety rating from NHTSA and a Top Safety Pick mark from IIHS.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Genesis makes most driver-assistance aids standard, including forward collision avoidance assist, lane keep assist, lane following assist, speed limit assist, forward and rear park-distance warning, blind-spot avoidance tech, and Highway Drive Assist. Upper trims add side park-distance warning and assist, Smart Park, rear occupant alert, and a blind-spot monitor with a video feed in the gauge cluster.

The main caveat is that IIHS results are mixed in a few areas: the G80 scored Acceptable for headlights, forward collision avoidance and LATCH ease of use, and Marginal in moderate front crashes and seat belt reminders.

Should I buy a 2025 Genesis G80 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 31.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.78% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It brings a refreshed design, a 27-inch OLED display, and strong standard safety equipment.

Consider the 2026 if:

• The next model year leans harder into old-school elegance and a more traditional luxury-sedan feel.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger value proposition and a refreshed feature set, the 2025 is the better primary choice. If you are more focused on the newest take on the formula and can wait, the 2026 is worth a look; price-sensitive buyers should keep shopping the 2025 for the better market opportunity.
