Is the 2025 Genesis G70 a good car?

The 2025 Genesis G70 stands out as a premium sport sedan that has built its own identity through style, value, and driving appeal. It emphasizes luxury features, advanced safety tech, and sporty driving dynamics, which makes it a well-rounded alternative if you want something upscale without paying the usual premium-brand tax.

The G70 is best suited to you if you value style and driving enjoyment more than maximum practicality, since its back seat is cramped and cargo space is limited. If that tradeoff works for your needs, its mix of premium feel and attractive pricing is a strong fit. 39.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a meaningful pool of value-oriented options.

Is the 2025 Genesis G70 reliable?

The 2025 Genesis G70 emphasizes luxury features, advanced safety tech, and sporty driving dynamics, and it has gone through a number of meaningful updates over its life, including refreshed styling and upgraded technology. It also gained a larger and more powerful 2.5-liter engine for 2024, and Brembo brakes were standardized that year.

For used buyers, that means you should focus on how well each example has been maintained and whether the car’s premium equipment has been kept in good working order. Long-term ownership risk is most likely to come from buying a neglected example rather than from the model’s core appeal.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Genesis G70?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report on any car you’re serious about, since a clean listing photo doesn’t tell you everything about prior damage or maintenance. Put inspection priority on the cabin, electronics, brakes, and suspension, because this is a premium sport sedan where condition matters as much as mileage. Pay close attention to whether the car feels consistent with its upscale positioning, especially if you want one that still delivers the style-and-driving appeal the G70 is known for.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Genesis G70?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop carefully without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 39.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 952 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.29% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 91.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $30,371, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Genesis G70's resale value?

The current average of $30,371 sits slightly below last year's $37,167.

That price drop suggests the used market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point. For a future seller, that also means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the car is equipped. If you keep the car clean, documented, and well maintained, you’ll be in a better position to protect value when it’s time to sell.

Should I buy a 2025 Genesis G70 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 39.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.29% compared with last year.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $32,350, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $30,371 average.
• It adds a stronger base engine and excellent handling.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the better primary target if you want the lower average price and a healthy supply of clean listings. If you’re more focused on the 2024’s stronger base-engine appeal and don’t mind paying more, that earlier year is still worth a look.
