You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the car’s condition matches the listing photos and description. Should I buy a 2025 Genesis G70 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 38.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.78% compared with last year.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $31,706, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $30,552 average.
• It adds a stronger base engine and excellent handling.

The bottom line:
You should start with the 2025 if your priority is value, because it is cheaper on average and benefits from a softer market. If you want the earlier model year’s stronger engine setup and are willing to pay more, the 2024 is the better secondary path for buyers who care most about driving feel.
