Yes — the 2025 GMC Yukon earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. The overview describes it as a full-size SUV with a commanding presence, a restrained upscale look, a roomy and well-appointed cabin, and a long list of available technology. Is the 2025 GMC Yukon reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview says reliability has not been great so far in this generation, even though the Yukon keeps a strong formula of premium amenities, space, and capability. For long-term ownership, the main risk is buying a poorly maintained example rather than a well-kept one.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 GMC Yukon?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and confirm there are no hidden accident or title issues. Put inspection priority on the SUV’s condition, especially signs of wear that can come with a large, heavily equipped vehicle. Focus on how the cabin, electronics, and drivetrain present in person so you can separate a clean example from one that has been used hard.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 GMC Yukon?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you know what you want.

• Deal availability: 37.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,597 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.08% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 93.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $72,367, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 GMC Yukon's resale value?

The current average of $72,367 sits slightly below last year's $82,306.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point. For a future seller, that also means resale performance will depend heavily on how well the vehicle is maintained and how desirable its condition remains. A clean, well-kept Yukon should still attract attention because it offers space, premium features, and strong capability in a popular full-size format.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 GMC Yukon or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 37.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.08% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the newest version with updated styling, a larger infotainment screen, and the latest feature set, the 2025 is the primary path to consider. If your priority is stretching your budget, a nearby older year may make more sense, especially if you can find a clean, well-maintained example with similar space and capability for less money.
