Is the 2025 GMC Acadia a good car?

The 2025 GMC Acadia stands out as a spacious midsize SUV with rugged styling and a cabin that emphasizes practicality and comfort. It offers a user-friendly infotainment system, spacious rear seats, good cargo capacity, and available amenities such as a sunroof, Bluetooth, a power liftgate, captain’s chairs, a heated steering wheel, and a Bose 12-speaker audio system.

For you, that means the Acadia makes the most sense if you want a family-oriented SUV with a more upscale feel and a strong mix of space and convenience features. The market also shows 36.6% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 GMC Acadia reliable?

The 2025 GMC Acadia emphasizes practicality and comfort, with a user-friendly cabin and a straightforward feature set that should make day-to-day ownership easy to live with. Its roomy interior and good cargo capacity also support the kind of routine family use that tends to matter most over time.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is paying a premium for a vehicle that is positioned more for comfort and features than for value.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 GMC Acadia?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the listing matches the seller’s claims about ownership and maintenance. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage example or one with more equipment. Focus on overall condition, feature operation, and signs of wear in the cabin and cargo area.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 GMC Acadia?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly when a strong listing appears.

• Deal availability: 36.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,276 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices are up 5.79% year-over-year.
• Clean inventory: 95.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $35,652, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 GMC Acadia's resale value?

The current average of $41,331 sits slightly above last year's $39,069.

That upward move suggests the Acadia is holding value reasonably well in the current market. If you buy carefully and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you should have a decent chance of preserving more of your investment than you would with a softer-priced model. The current pricing also means future sellers may benefit if demand stays steady and inventory remains relatively tight.

Should I buy a 2025 GMC Acadia or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 36.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices are up 5.79% year-over-year.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $40,742, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $41,331 average.
• The 2024 emphasizes a well-executed cabin and easy-to-use technology.

The bottom line: If you want the newer model-year pricing context and a broad pool of listings, the 2025 is the primary choice. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2024 is the better value path because it undercuts the current year while still delivering the Acadia’s core strengths.
