How much does the 2025 Ford Escape cost?

Prices have softened 16.22% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 6,991 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Ford Escape a good car?

The 2025 Ford Escape sits in a moderate market position, so it can make sense if you want a current-year option and are shopping with some flexibility. You should still compare listings carefully, since the strongest value usually comes from the right combination of price, condition, and equipment rather than the badge alone.

39.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are worthwhile opportunities if you shop selectively.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Ford Escape?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and confirm the listing matches the car’s actual condition and equipment. Prioritize a thorough inspection of wear items, interior condition, and any signs of prior damage or poor repairs. If a listing looks especially strong on price, make sure the condition supports it before you move quickly.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Ford Escape?

This is a moderate market, so you have room to shop selectively without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 39.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 6,991 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.22% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 91.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $23,253, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Ford Escape's resale value?

The current average of $23,253 sits slightly below last year's $27,754.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, that also means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well your specific vehicle stands out against the broader market. If you keep the car clean, well maintained, and competitively equipped, you give yourself a better chance of protecting value later.

Should I buy a 2025 Ford Escape or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 39.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.22% compared with last year.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $22,837, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $23,253 average.
• It offers variety, comfort, and strong technology.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2025 if you want the current-year market and are focused on finding a well-priced, clean example. If your priority is saving money, the 2024 is the better value path because it comes in below the current average while still offering the Escape’s core strengths.
