How much does the 2025 Ford Bronco cost?

Prices have softened 17.05% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 4,429 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing trims and equipment.

Is the 2025 Ford Bronco a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Ford Bronco earns a 5/5 user rating and a 6.83/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Performance at 9/10.

The Bronco’s appeal is strongest if you want a vehicle with personality and real trail capability rather than an SUV that only looks rugged. It also has broader everyday appeal than some rivals, since it is more comfortable on streets and highways than the Jeep Wrangler.

The main trade-offs are poor fuel economy and poor value for money. Advanced safety features are not standard, so you may need to shop carefully by trim and package.

The market shows 34.9% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you some room to negotiate if you find the right configuration.

Is the 2025 Ford Bronco reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Bronco is presented as a modern off-roader under the skin, with a design and hardware setup aimed at buyers who plan to use it beyond pavement. Its performance setup includes a base turbocharged four-cylinder with strong output, plus an available turbocharged V6 for more power.

The Bronco also includes helpful off-road-oriented durability and control features such as four-wheel drive with a two-speed transfer case, hill-start assist, and hill-descent control. On the cost side, the first scheduled maintenance visit is included.

For used buyers, the biggest long-term ownership risk is that the Bronco’s rugged capability comes with compromises, so condition and maintenance history matter more than with a simpler daily driver.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Ford Bronco?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the Bronco has been used off-road. Focus on wear items that can reveal hard use, including tires, suspension components, and underbody condition.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base model looks pretty drab and is available in both two- and four-door body styles, while the Big Bend is only a little more expensive and is worth the upgrade for most buyers. The Outer Banks adds a more upscale feel, and the Heritage, Badlands, Stroppe Edition, and Raptor each push farther toward style or capability.
• Powertrain: Most models use a 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 300 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque, while an available turbocharged 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 increases output to 330 hp and 415 lb-ft of torque. The Bronco Raptor gets its own more powerful engine and a 4,500-pound towing capacity.
• Safety package: Co-Pilot360 is optional on the base trim and standard on the Big Bend and higher trims. It includes blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control. The Outer Banks and Badlands can add a Lux package with a 360-degree camera system and evasive steering assist.
• Infotainment: You get a 12-inch touchscreen with Sync 4, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a seven-speaker audio system with a subwoofer. A second 12-inch digital gauge cluster is standard across the lineup, and an upgraded Bang & Olufsen system with 10 speakers is available starting with the Outer Banks.
• Fuel efficiency: The base four-cylinder with the manual transmission is rated at 18 mpg city, 21 mpg highway, and 19 mpg combined. The automatic adds 1 mpg to combined and highway fuel economy, while the Bronco Raptor is rated at 15 mpg combined.

Which 2025 Ford Bronco trim should I buy?

The 2025 Ford Bronco is offered in 7 trim levels: Base, Big Bend, Outer Banks, Heritage, Badlands, Stroppe Edition, and Raptor.

Here's the short version:

• Base: This is the entry point, but it looks pretty drab and leaves more equipment on the options list. It makes sense if you want the lowest starting price and plan to build up from there.
• Big Bend: This is the best-value trim for most buyers because it is only a little more expensive than the base model and is worth the upgrade. It also makes the standard safety package available.
• Outer Banks: This trim adds a more upscale feel, leather seating surfaces, a heated steering wheel, and available V6 power. It suits you if you want more comfort without jumping all the way to the specialty models.
• Heritage: This trim leans hardest into the retro look and includes the Sasquatch package as standard equipment. It is a good fit if style and off-road hardware both matter to you.
• Badlands: This is the choice if you want stronger trail capability, including bigger tires, an upgraded suspension package, and a classier interior. It also adds a front sway-bar disconnect.
• Stroppe Edition: This two-door-only model is marketed as race-ready and is aimed at buyers who want a more specialized desert-running personality.
• Raptor: This is the most extreme Bronco, with an ultra-wide body kit, huge tires, and a dramatically lifted suspension. It is the right pick if you want maximum capability and do not mind the price.

The safety package is optional on the base trim and standard on the Big Bend and higher trims.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Ford Bronco?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have some leverage if you shop carefully.

• Deal availability: 34.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 4,429 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.05% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 95.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $45,718, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Ford Bronco's resale value?

The current average of $47,325 sits slightly below last year's $57,050.

That drop suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more selectively now. For a future seller, it also means you should expect resale value to depend heavily on trim, condition, and equipment rather than just the Bronco nameplate.

Well-equipped versions with desirable off-road hardware should hold buyer interest better than stripped examples. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Ford Bronco safe?

The 2025 Ford Bronco earns Good ratings from IIHS in small overlap front, moderate overlap front, and updated side-impact crash tests, and it earns four-star ratings in frontal crash and three-star ratings in rollover testing from NHTSA.

It earns a 5/10 safety score from our experts.

The Bronco does not come standard with Co-Pilot360, which is optional on the base trim and standard on the Big Bend and higher trims. That suite includes blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control.

A key caveat is the IIHS Marginal headlight rating, and the lack of standard advanced safety equipment on the base model means you should pay close attention to trim and package content.

Should I buy a 2025 Ford Bronco or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 34.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.05% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It offers a wide range of variants, from the base model to the Raptor, with strong off-road capability and more comfort on pavement than the Jeep Wrangler.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $44,437, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $47,325 average.
• It adds a standard 12-inch Sync 4 infotainment system.

The bottom line: If you want the broadest current selection and the strongest mix of capability and comfort, the 2025 is the better target. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2024 is the more budget-friendly path and still delivers the Bronco’s core appeal.
