How much does the 2025 Ford Bronco cost?

Prices have softened 16.51% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 4,117 listings available, which suggests you should have a workable range of choices.

Is the 2025 Ford Bronco a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Ford Bronco earns a 5/5 user rating and a 6.83/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Performance at 9/10.

The Bronco’s appeal comes from its blend of throwback styling and real off-road hardware, while still being more comfortable on streets and highways than the Jeep Wrangler. That makes it a strong fit if you want a rugged SUV with personality and genuine trail ability rather than something that only looks the part.

The trade-offs are clear: poor fuel economy and poor value for money. It also asks you to think carefully about how you’ll use it day to day, especially if most of your driving is on pavement.

Only 34.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the market is selective rather than flooded with bargains.

Is the 2025 Ford Bronco reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Bronco is built around a modern off-road setup, and its standard four-wheel drive with a two-speed transfer case supports that rugged mission. Its fully independent front suspension also helps it feel more composed on pavement than some hard-core rivals, which can reduce day-to-day wear-and-tear stress for used buyers who split time between road and trail.

The performance setup is straightforward and proven, with a turbocharged four-cylinder or optional turbocharged V6, plus a manual or automatic transmission depending on trim. The Bronco also includes hill-start assist and hill-descent control, which are useful for off-road control and confidence.

Long-term ownership risk is highest if the previous owner used it hard off-road or skipped routine maintenance, so condition and service history matter a lot.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Ford Bronco?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the Bronco has been modified or used off-road. Focus on tire wear, suspension condition, underbody damage, and signs that the removable roof or doors have been handled frequently.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base model looks pretty drab and is available in both two- and four-door body styles, while the Big Bend is only a little more expensive and is worth the upgrade for most buyers. The Outer Banks adds a more upscale feel with LED lighting, and the Heritage trim leans harder into the retro look. The Badlands brings a classier interior and more capability, while the Stroppe Edition and Raptor sit at the top of the range with much more specialized hardware.
• Powertrain: Most models use a 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 300 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque, while an optional turbocharged 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 makes 330 hp and 415 lb-ft. The Bronco Raptor uses a unique, more powerful engine, and the standard setup includes four-wheel drive with a two-speed transfer case.
• Safety package: Co-Pilot360 is optional on the base trim and standard on the Big Bend and higher trims. It includes blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control. Post-collision braking is standard even on the base model, and the Outer Banks and Badlands can be equipped with an optional Lux package that adds a 360-degree camera system and evasive steering assist.
• Infotainment: You get a 12-inch touchscreen with Sync 4, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a seven-speaker audio system with a subwoofer. A second 12-inch digital gauge cluster is standard across the lineup, and an upgraded Bang & Olufsen sound system with 10 speakers is available starting with the Outer Banks.
• Fuel efficiency: The base four-cylinder with a manual transmission is rated at 18 mpg city, 21 mpg highway, and 19 mpg combined. The automatic adds 1 mpg to combined and highway fuel economy, while the Bronco Raptor is rated at 15 mpg combined.

Which 2025 Ford Bronco trim should I buy?

The 2025 Ford Bronco is offered in 7 trim levels: base, Big Bend, Outer Banks, Heritage, Badlands, Stroppe Edition, and Raptor.

Here's the short version:

• base: This is the entry point, but it looks pretty drab and leaves Co-Pilot360 optional. It makes sense only if you want the lowest starting price and plan to add equipment carefully.
• Big Bend: This is the best-value trim for most buyers because it is only a little more expensive than the base model and includes Co-Pilot360 standard. It also opens the door to useful packages, making it the smart middle ground.
• Outer Banks: Choose this if you want a more comfort-focused Bronco, since it adds leather seating surfaces, a heated steering wheel, and available upgraded audio. It also suits buyers who want a more polished daily driver.
• Heritage: This is the trim for you if you want the strongest retro look, and it includes the Sasquatch package as standard equipment. It’s a good fit if style and capability both matter.
• Badlands: This is the most trail-focused mainstream trim, with bigger tires, an upgraded suspension package, and a classier interior. It also adds two extra drive modes and a front sway-bar disconnect, so it suits serious off-road use.
• Stroppe Edition: This is the two-door, race-ready special with a bold paint scheme and a matte black hood. It’s for buyers who want a highly specialized desert-running Bronco.
• Raptor: This is the top-end choice if you want the most extreme Bronco, with an ultra-wide body kit, huge tires, and dramatically lifted suspension. It is the most capable and most expensive option.

Co-Pilot360 is optional on the base trim and standard on the Big Bend and higher trims.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Ford Bronco?

The market looks moderate, so you can shop selectively without expecting a deep bargain on every listing.

• Deal availability: 34.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 4,117 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.51% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 95.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $45,739, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Ford Bronco's resale value?

The current average of $47,258 sits slightly below last year's $56,601.

That drop suggests the Bronco has become more accessible to used buyers, which can help demand from shoppers who were priced out of new inventory. For a future seller, the current market means you may not recover as much as earlier owners did, especially if your Bronco is a lower-trim example without desirable equipment.

Well-equipped trims and clean-condition examples should hold up better than stripped-down versions, since buyers in this segment often want capability and features together. Strong owner satisfaction also helps support demand over time.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Ford Bronco safe?

The 2025 Ford Bronco earns Good ratings from IIHS in small overlap front, moderate overlap front, and updated side-impact crash tests, but its headlights are rated Marginal. It earns four-star ratings for frontal crash safety and three-star ratings in rollover testing from NHTSA.

It earns a 5/10 safety score from our experts.

Co-Pilot360 is the named driver-assistance suite, and it includes blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control. It is optional on the base trim and standard on the Big Bend and higher trims.

The main safety caveat is that advanced safety features are not standard on the base model, so you need to check equipment carefully on used examples.

Should I buy a 2025 Ford Bronco or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 34.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.51% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It offers a wide range of variants, from the base model to the Raptor, with strong off-road capability and more comfort on pavement than the Jeep Wrangler.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $44,873, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $47,258 average.
• It adds a standard 12-inch Sync 4 infotainment system and other updates.

The 2025 is the better pick if you want the broader current-market selection and the strongest mix of capability and comfort. If your priority is saving money, the 2024 is the more budget-friendly path and still gives you much of the Bronco formula.
