How much does the 2025 Chevrolet Trax cost?

Is the 2025 Chevrolet Trax a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. The 2025 Trax stands out as a subcompact SUV that emphasizes space, value, and everyday usability, with more rear passenger room and significantly more cargo capacity than the original model. It also brings a modern cabin, a compact footprint, and useful standard equipment, which makes it a practical fit if you want a small SUV that feels bigger than it is. With 36.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding attractive pricing.

Is the 2025 Chevrolet Trax reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2025 Trax’s appeal comes from its straightforward setup, practical packaging, and everyday usability rather than complexity. Its 1.2-liter turbocharged engine, six-speed automatic transmission, and emphasis on value-oriented equipment suggest a simple ownership experience compared with more complicated alternatives. For used buyers, that usually means lower long-term risk if you prioritize condition and maintenance history.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Chevrolet Trax?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still confirm the history report on any listing, even if the market looks clean overall. Put inspection priority on body condition, interior wear, and how well the tech features work, since the Trax leans heavily on convenience equipment. Focus on signs of prior damage, uneven panel gaps, and any issues that could affect daily usability.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Chevrolet Trax?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 36.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 8,263 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.35% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $20,534, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Chevrolet Trax's resale value?

The current average of $21,270 sits slightly below last year's $23,207.

That softer pricing can help you buy in at a more favorable point, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays soft. If you plan to sell later, the Trax’s value will depend heavily on mileage, condition, and how well it has been maintained. Strong demand for affordable, practical small SUVs should help support interest, especially if your vehicle is clean and well equipped.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Chevrolet Trax or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 36.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.35% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $20,538, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $21,270 average.
• It introduced the Trax’s bigger, more modern redesign.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It adds two new exterior colors while keeping the Trax’s practical formula intact.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the best all-around pick if you want the strongest mix of value, inventory, and owner satisfaction. If your main goal is saving money, the 2024 is the better budget play, while the 2026 makes sense if you want the newest version and are comfortable paying more for it.
