What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Cadillac LYRIQ?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify service records before you commit. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the battery-related systems, charging equipment, and any signs of uneven wear or cosmetic repair. Focus on overall condition and how the vehicle has been used, since a clean history does not replace a careful pre-purchase check.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Cadillac LYRIQ?

This is a selective buyer’s market, so you have room to compare listings and wait for the right one.

If you find a listing below $45,161, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Cadillac LYRIQ's resale value?

The current average of $45,161 sits slightly below last year's $56,330.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more selectively today. If you plan to sell later, the current pricing environment may limit upside unless demand strengthens. For now, the LYRIQ’s resale picture looks more stable than strong, so condition and mileage will matter a lot when it’s time to trade or sell.

Should I buy a 2025 Cadillac LYRIQ or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 36.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.83% compared with last year.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $38,033, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $45,161 average.
• It offers a more established first full model year with a notably upscale cabin.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2025 if you want the broader current-market selection and are focused on finding a well-priced example with strong clean-history availability. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2024 is the better value path because it undercuts the current year’s average by a meaningful margin while still delivering the LYRIQ’s core appeal.
